BAIC Philippines has expanded its retail footprint in Metro Manila with the opening of BAIC BGC, placing the brand in one of the capital’s key business and lifestyle districts; the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig.

The new dealership was inaugurated on September 17, 2026, at the Ground Floor of W City Center at the corner of 7th Avenue and 30th Street in BGC. It operates under MG Gateway Mantrade Corporation and adds another location to BAIC Philippines’ dealership network.

The opening ceremony was attended by Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, representatives from UAAGI Auto Group, BAIC Philippines, MG Gateway Mantrade Corporation, dealership partners, and invited guests.

For BAIC, the BGC location is about more than a showroom. The company sees the district as a natural fit for its vehicles because of its mix of offices, residences, retail establishments, restaurants, and other lifestyle destinations.

“BGC is where a lot of modern Filipino life happens,” said Timothy Sytin, Brand Head of BAIC Philippines. He described the area as a place where people live, work, spend weekends, and encounter ideas and technology.

The dealership gives customers in BGC and nearby areas a key venue to view BAIC vehicles, experience the lineup, and learn about its conventional and electrified mobility offerings.

Among the models highlighted in the opening are the BAIC B30e Dune, an electrified SUV that combines hybrid efficiency with everyday practicality and adventure-oriented capability; the B40e Trailmaster rEV, which pairs a rugged off-road character with range-extended electric vehicle technology; and the B60e Beaumont rEV, a premium SUV focused on space, technology, and long-distance versatility.

BAIC BGC is also intended to serve as a gathering point for the brand’s growing owner community. The dealership is expected to host events in the coming months where owners can connect, share experiences, and participate in activities centered on the brand.

The opening supports BAIC Philippines’ effort to expand its nationwide dealership network while strengthening the ownership experience through sales and aftersales support.

With BAIC BGC now open, the brand has added a more central presence in Bonifacio Global City while giving prospective and existing customers another point for sales, service, and community activities.

Autocar’s Take

The opening of BAIC BGC is notable because location matters when a brand is building visibility. Putting a dealership in BGC gives BAIC the opportunity to cater to professionals, families, and business owners who regularly move through the district.

More importantly, the site gives customers a place to check out the brand’s growing lineup, particularly its electrified SUVs. Models such as the B30e Dune, B40e Trailmaster rEV, and B60e Beaumont rEV represent a wide mix of choices for motorists considering newer powertrain technologies.

The planned owner events are also worth watching, as they could help turn BAIC BGC into a real community hub.
