Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has provided a relief assistance activity for the families affected by the earthquake in Glan, Sarangani in Mindanao. The relief assistance activity was conducted in partnership with Isuzu General Santos and the Local Government Unit of Barangay Burias.
IPC said that Barangay Burias was one of the areas severely impacted by the earthquake. As such, Isuzu PH distributed essential relief packs containing hygiene kits, bottled water, and food supplies to a total of 250 families residing in Burias. The car brand added that the relief assistance activity was launched to provide immediate assistance to residents whose daily lives have been disrupted by damaged homes, blocked roads, and limited access to markets and necessities.
Special attention was given to senior citizens and nearby coastal communities. As road obstructions and damaged local stores made essential goods difficult to obtain, the relief effort aimed to provide comfort and immediate support to some of the community’s most vulnerable residents, according to Isuzu PH.

Representing IPC during the turnover was Isuzu PH Assistant Vice President for Administration Imelda Bernas, who reaffirmed the company’s commitment to extending assistance beyond its business operations.
“IPC believes that being a responsible corporate citizen means standing beside our communities, especially during difficult times. Through this relief initiative, we hope to provide not only essential supplies but also encouragement and reassurance to the families of Barangay Burias as they recover from the effects of the earthquake. We are grateful to our partners at Isuzu General Santos and the Barangay Local Government Unit for making this meaningful initiative possible,” said Bernas.
Meanwhile, Barangay Captain Venancio Siao Wata III expressed his gratitude for the timely assistance extended by IPC and its partners. “On behalf of the people of Barangay Burias, we sincerely thank Isuzu Philippines Corporation and Isuzu General Santos for their generosity and compassion.”
Helping the communities in need is something that Isuzu PH always does. Aside from distributing relief assistance, IPC also donates its trusted and reliable trucks to different organizations and government agencies. One example of this is Isuzu PH’s donation of 205 new truck units to the Philippine Army.

Autocar’s Take
Isuzu Philippines Corporation has once again shown its compassion by extending help and assistance to the families affected by the earthquake in Sarangani, Mindanao. This shows that the brand is willing to lend a helping hand to the communities in need, a practice that IPC intends to uphold.
Previously, Isuzu PH has also given essential relief supplies to 250 families that were severely affected by Typhoon Tino in Cebu, which struck in November 2025. IPC, together with its Mandaue dealer partner Iconic Dealership, Inc. (IDI), collaborated with local government units to make the distribution possible.
