inDrive closed 2025 on a high note, naming the Philippines as one of its most dynamic growth markets in Southeast Asia. This came after the transport network vehicle service (TNVS) company posted substantial gains in usage, reach, and partnerships throughout the year.
Now in its second year of local operations, inDrive Philippines boosted its contribution to the company’s regional business by 13% more than it did in the previous year. The surge was driven by its rapid expansion to seven cities across the nation. These include Metro Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, and Iloilo. This massive expansion generated an active pool of more than 16,000 partner drivers, along with a series of initiatives focused on passenger safety and river empowerment.
According to Sofia Guinto, inDrive Philippines Business Development Head, understanding the needs of both passengers and partner drivers remains at the core of their strategy. She added that fairness, safety, and broader opportunities continue to guide inDrive Philippines’ innovations and community programs.
In 2025, inDrive’s local operations recorded an 8-fold jump in ride bookings and a 7-fold increase in passengers vs. the previous year. This allowed the platform to more accessible mobility across major urban and provincial hubs.

inDrive also doubled down on safety. New in-app features launched this year include an emergency button linked directly to law enforcement, round-the-clock in-app and email support, and a dedicated Safety and Incident Management Team that reviews all reported concerns. These additions contributed to inDrive winning the Philippines Technology Excellence Award for AI in Transportation at the Asian Technology Awards. The recognition highlighted the platform’s use of artificial intelligence (AI) to verify vehicle condition, assist drivers, and support customer queries.
inDrive is further refining its driver onboarding process with the help of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG). Together, they are developing training modules on passenger handling, road safety, and other key competencies.

Moreover, inDrive has also expanded its community partnerships. Its collaboration with the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) enabled smoother mobility for commuters during the “Undas” exodus, serving over 3,000 rides. Meanwhile, a partnership with electric vehicle (EV) dealer Device Design Green and Smart, along with Transrev Documentation and Transport Services, led to the launch of Baguio City’s first regional EV fleet, offering environmentally friendly transportation options.
Lastly, InDrive has teamed up with the Department of Health (DOH) to promote 100% smoke- and vape-free rides, supporting healthier travel habits nationwide.
As it wraps up 2025, inDrive reiterates its mission to deliver safer, fairer, and more inclusive mobility solutions while continuing to invest in technology, partnerships, and community-focused programs across the Philippines.
