Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has officially introduced the 2026 Honda CR-V, which now features a revamped lineup, including two e:HEV hybrid trims and a turbo variant. HCPI is also offering the 2026 Honda CR-V with introductory prices for a limited time.
Design-wise, the 2026 Honda CR-V is integrated with subtle changes, but it looks relatively similar to the outgoing model. The new CR-V RS e:HEV, which is the top-spec trim, gets exclusive piano black accents seen on the front bumper, fender flares, and door trims. It also differentiates itself from other variants through the presence of the RS badge.
The mid-spec Honda CR-V VX e:HEV, on the other hand, has relatively the same exterior as the RS trim. However, the VX e:HEV variant does not get piano black accents that are seen on the top-of-the-line RS trim. But it does get piano black trims on its tailgate spoiler garnish, door mirrors, and alloy wheels. It also comes with new rear fog lights.

The 2026 Honda CR-V V Turbo variant gets the car brand’s new HuNT styling package. It includes the following variant-exclusive design: glossy copper accents on the front grille and fog lights, black wheel arch garnish, silver front garnish, and running board. This trim is the only CR-V that comes with a seven-seater configuration.
Inside, the new Honda CR-V is equipped with a straightforward and neat-looking dashboard, along with black leather seats and a three-spoke leather steering wheel. The RS variant gets exclusive red stitching upgraded with RS branding.
Honda PH also fitted the RS and VX trims with Head-Up Display, a feature that comes in handy especially when cruising on a highway, as drivers can easily monitor their speed. Moreover, both the RS and VX variants now have Individual Driving Mode, allowing for a personalized connection between the car and the driver.

Standard across all trims is the Honda Sensing, which is the Japanese car brand’s suite of intelligent driver assist technology. As such, all Honda CR-V variants come with the following: Adaptive Cruise Control, Low Speed Follow, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning, among others. To add, all 2026 Honda CR-V trims are integrated with Blind Spot Information and a Cross Traffic Monitor, which helps further in achieving safer drives.
The 2026 Honda CR-V RS and VX e:HEV trims are powered by a 2.0-liter VTEC four-cylinder engine that delivers 146 horsepower and 183 Nm of torque. It is then assisted by electric motors that produce 182 hp and 335 Nm of torque. Both the RS and XV trims come with e-CVT, but the RS has Real Time All-Wheel Drive (AWD), while the VX has a Front Wheel Drive (FWD) setup.

Of note, both the RS and VX e:HEV variants come with a specialized battery warranty of eight (8) years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
The new Honda CR-V V Turbo, on the other hand, comes with a 1.5-liter VTEC engine that generates 187 hp and 240 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT.
The 2026 Honda CR-V is offered with the following introductory prices:
– CR-V RS e:HEV AWD e-CVT: P2,788,000 (SRP: P2,838,000)
– CR-V VX e:HEV e-CVT: P2,438,000 (SRP: P2,488,000)
– CR-V V Turbo HuNT CVT: P2,258,000 (SRP: P2,358,000)
The New Honda CR-V is available in four (4) colors across all variants: Platinum White Pearl (additional P20,000), Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl (new), and Canyon River Blue Metallic.
The New 2026 Honda CR-V will be on full display at the Glorietta Activity Center until February 10, 2026.
Autocar’s Take
The introduction of the new 2026 Honda CR-V shows Honda Cars Philippines, Inc’s commitment to further expand its e:HEV or hybrid offerings. The car brand is now offering two e:HEV variants for the Honda CR-V, and the top-spec RS trim comes with an all-wheel drive configuration, which offers better traction, resulting in a more confident and safer drive.
The entry-level V trim gets extra style points courtesy of the HuNT package. This allows this specific CR-V trim to have its own distinctive look, which could help it when it comes to giving consumers diverse options when shopping for Honda’s compact crossover SUV. It also comes with a seven-seater configuration, the only CR-V to have such seating capacity.
