Great Wall Motor (GWM) Philippines is giving potential clients more reasons to drive home one of its brand-new vehicles, as it offers a 10-year or 1,000,000-kilometer powertrain warranty for the Cannon pickup truck and the Haval H9 full-size SUV. GWM said that the extended warranty coverage reflects its confidence in its products.
The powertrain warranty covers key components, including the engine and transmission. With this, GWM shared that the 10-year or 1,000,000 km (whichever comes first) provides customers with “greater peace of mind throughout their ownership journey.”
“This 10-Year / 1,000,000 KM Powertrain Warranty reflects our firm belief in the strength and reliability of our vehicles. It reinforces our commitment to delivering quality products while supporting our customers with long-term ownership confidence,” said GWM Philippines Brand Head Dax Avenido.
The 10-year or 1,000,000 km powertrain warranty applies to the following GWM models:
– 2025 GWM Cannon Elite 4X4 (2.0L)
– 2025 GWM Cannon Pilot 4X4 (2.0L)
– 2025 GWM Cannon LUX 4X4 (2.4L)
– 2025 GWM Cannon SLUX 4X4 (2.4L)
– 2026 GWM Haval H9 4X4 (2.4L)
As a review, the GWM Cannon is available in five variants, with pricing starting at P1,248,000 for the Cannon Elite trim. The GWM Cannon is powered by either a 2.0-liter or 2.4-liter turbocharged diesel engine.
The 2.0-liter turbo diesel delivers 159 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2.4-liter turbo diesel, on the other hand, produces 182 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque, connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission. It comes with three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.
Meanwhile, the GWM Haval H9 is a full-size seven-seater SUV. It was officially launched in the Philippines last February 2026, and is available with a sticker price of P1,998,888. GWM PH is offering an introductory discount amounting to P70,000, which will run until May 31, 2026. This brings the Haval H9’s selling price down to P1,928,888.
Under the hood, the GWM Haval H9 is equipped with a 2.4-liter turbocharged diesel engine that puts out 184 hp and 480 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and features three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, along with a 4×4 drivetrain.
