BAIC Philippines unveils rugged EV SUVs at MIAS 2025

BAIC Philippines makes a powerful impression at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), held from April 10–13 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, with a dynamic lineup of next-generation SUVs.

Taking center stage are the newly launched B40 Pro TrailMaster, a high-performance diesel off-roader, and the B60e Beaumont rEV, BAIC’s first full-size electrified SUV—both designed to raise the bar for adventure and technology.

“BAIC is stepping up with bold and exciting new models built for Filipino explorers,” said Chris Yu, BAIC Brand Head and General Manager. “With striking design, robust performance, and advanced features, these new SUVs reflect our commitment to innovation and adventure.”

B40 Pro TrailMaster: Diesel-Driven and Trail-Ready

The B40 Pro TrailMaster is a true off-road SUV powered by a 2.0-liter Aucan turbo-diesel engine, paired with a BorgWarner part-time 4WD system. It features 11 drive modes—from Comfort to Deep Snow—and includes trail-specific tech like front and rear locking differentials, a Wading Induction System, Crawl Control, and Off-Road Turn Assist.

Inside, it offers a futuristic 5-screen interface, including dual 12.8-inch displays and an intuitive suite of controls. Comfort comes standard with heated and ventilated power microfiber leather seats with memory functions, while 17-inch all-terrain wheels, a 220mm ground clearance, and power step boards make it as capable as it is comfortable.

Its 6-screen display interface includes head-up display, twin 12.8-inch infotainment screens, and an energy flow interface. The cabin also pampers passengers with power-adjustable massaging seats and a 12+1 Infinity sound system with noise cancellation.

Meanwhile, the BAIC Colonnade hosts vehicle showcases, aftersales consultations, dealer networking, and an immersive off-road-inspired display. Visitors can check out other models like the B30e Dune hybrid, X55 Verve Sport, B80 Wagon, and the newly launched TrailMaster and Beaumont rEV.

Special Guests and MIAS Promos

BAIC brand ambassador Ian Veneracion led the grand reveal, while OPM icon Chito Miranda is set to perform on April 12. Visitors can also enjoy MIAS-exclusive deals and freebies for reservations and purchases.
