The 2026 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup (Toyota GR Cup) is now underway. To highlight the occasion, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is putting the spotlight on the Ativ HEV as it rolls out a host of race season deals this March.
The Toyota race season promo campaign runs until March 31, 2026. While it brings several financing options and ownership perks across selected models, the Ativ HEV stands out as one of the most accessible ways for Filipinos to enter Toyota’s growing electrified lineup.
Under Toyota’s Pay Low financing plan, the Ativ 1.5 HEV CVT two-tone can be purchased with a low down payment of P179,000. The package bundles attractive ownership benefits, including 60-month financing, free 1-year comprehensive insurance, free 3-year LTO registration, and no chattel mortgage under select finance lease agreements.
Toyota describes the Ativ as a practical choice for city driving as it boasts compact dimensions and hybrid efficiency – attributes that the brand claims to attract buyers living in congested urban environments such as Metro Manila.

Aside from the Ativ promo, TMP is also offering two other financing options aimed at different purchasing priorities. The first of which is the Pay Light option for the Toyota Yaris Cross. In detail, this promo highlights the Yaris Cross 1.5 S HEV CVT two-tone, with monthly payments starting at P15,504. On the other hand, those paying cash for the Toyota RAV4 2.5 LTD HEV may drive home the electrified SUV under TMP’s Straight Cash Savings program, which carries a potential cash discount of P300,000.
Toyota’s hybrid offerings are also featured in the race season campaign. These include the Toyota Corolla Cross 1.8 GR-S HEV and the Toyota Zenix 2.0 Q HEV, both of which come with either monthly payment plans or straight-cash savings, depending on the variant.
TMP shared that additional ownership perks are also available during the promo period. These include free periodic maintenance service (PMS) for selected models, service discount vouchers, trade-in rebates of up to P30,000, free 1-year comprehensive insurance for select vehicles, and a 5-year warranty on all brand-new Toyota units.
Finally, those coming to Riverpark in Cavite for the opening round of the 2026 Toyota GR Cup will be in for a treat as TMP will showcase several electrified vehicles from its lineup. From March 13 to 15, 2025, race attendees can take a closer look at the Toyota Ativ, Toyota Yaris Cross, and two upcoming models – the all-new Toyota RAV4 HEV and the Toyota Urban Cruiser.
Autocar’s Take
Toyota’s decision to highlight the Ativ HEV in its race season promo campaign makes sense. The Ativ HEV represents two things: the future of Toyota’s electrified mobility and the legacy of its predecessor, the Toyota Vios, as an iconic machine that helped shape the Toyota GR Cup to what it is today, from its inaugural race in 2014 under the Toyota Vios Cup banner.
Also, the Ativ HEV is Toyota’s gateway for those interested in stepping into the world of electrified mobility. By positioning the Ativ HEV at a relatively low entry point through financing promos such as the Pay Low and Pay Light programs, Toyota is framing hybrid ownership as realistically attainable.
