Lynk & Co has brought its flagship 900 full-size plug-in hybrid SUV to the Philippines, marking the brand’s first product launch since its local operations were integrated into Geely Motor Philippines (GMP).

The six-seat SUV arrives with a suggested retail price of P4,280,000. Its local introduction also signals the start of a closer operational relationship between Lynk & Co and Geely, covering sales, after-sales support, parts supply and customer care.

The integration is part of Geely’s One Geely strategy, which aims to strengthen cooperation across its brands. According to GMP, the arrangement will help accelerate product introductions and expand Lynk & Co’s local sales and service network.

The 900 is offered in a single EM-P Ultra variant, combining a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with two electric motors, a 3DHT hybrid transmission and electric all-wheel drive. The system produces a claimed combined output of 718 hp and 1,038 Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in 4.9 seconds.

A 50 kWh battery provides up to 170 km of pure electric driving range, while the manufacturer claims a combined range of up to 1,000 km. The vehicle supports DC fast charging at up to 120 kW and also comes with vehicle-to-load functionality.

Inside, the 5,240 mm long SUV features three rows of seating, with six individual seats. Its second-row seats can rotate 180 degrees for face-to-face seating while parked. Other highlights include massage functions across all three rows, a 30-inch 6K entertainment display and a 31-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

Driver assistance technology includes LiDAR-based sensing, 23 assistance functions and a 540-degree camera system.

Beyond the vehicle itself, Lynk & Co is introducing a revised ownership package. The 900, 02, and 08 now receive a five-year or 150,000-km vehicle warranty, alongside an eight-year unlimited-mileage high-voltage battery warranty. The 900 also includes two years of free periodic maintenance and roadside assistance.

To mark the launch, customers reserving the 900 with a P50,000 deposit from November 6 to December 31 can receive promo benefits worth up to P390,000, including a P230,000 cash discount, powered running boards and charging accessories.

The 900 joins the 02 electric vehicle and 08 plug-in hybrid SUV in the local lineup, giving Lynk & Co a stronger presence in the Philippines’ premium new energy vehicle market.

Autocar’s Take

The Lynk & Co 900 is an interesting addition to the Philippine premium SUV market, particularly with its combination of plug-in hybrid performance, six-seat accommodation and technology normally associated with much more expensive luxury offerings. But its P4.28-million price tag means buyers will expect more than impressive specifications.

This is where Geely Motor Philippines‘ involvement becomes important. A strong after-sales network, dependable parts availability and consistent customer support will matter just as much as the vehicle itself. The improved warranty package is a welcome start, but the real test will be how well Lynk & Co delivers on ownership.
