ACMobility has received the E-Mobility Infrastructure Excellence Award at the 2026 Philippine Energy Awards, recognizing its contribution to expanding electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the Philippines.
The Ayala Group mobility provider received the award during the ceremony held October 7 at Museo del Galeon in Manila. Carla Buencamino, ACMobility’s head of mobility infrastructure, accepted the recognition.
According to the company, its charging network covers more than 240 locations and includes over 600 charge points nationwide, making it the country’s largest EV charging network. Department of Energy data cited by ACMobility showed that it accounted for more than 40% of the Philippines’ EV charging infrastructure as of June 2026.
The network connects major cities and travel destinations through charging hubs equipped with alternating current (AC) chargers and direct current (DC) fast chargers. The company said its charging solutions serve all compatible electric vehicles.
The award plaque, signed by Energy Secretary Sharon Garin, recognized ACMobility’s contribution to the Philippine energy sector and its commitment to innovation, excellence and collaboration.

Buencamino credited the company’s employees and external partners for helping make EV charging more accessible to Filipinos.
The recognition comes as charging infrastructure remains an important consideration for motorists weighing the shift to electric vehicles. Access to charging stations along major routes and near everyday destinations can help address concerns about where drivers can recharge, particularly when traveling beyond their usual areas.
ACMobility said it would continue investing in charging infrastructure and expanding its network to support the country’s transition to electric mobility.
The Philippine Energy Awards recognizes individuals, organizations and industry players whose achievements and innovations have advanced the country’s energy sector. It also highlights initiatives that support a more sustainable energy future.
ACMobility is part of the Ayala Group and operates across several mobility businesses, including vehicle distribution, dealership operations and EV charging. Its charging infrastructure investments form part of its efforts to support the adoption of electrified transport in the Philippines.

Autocar’s Take
ACMobility’s award is encouraging, but the bigger test is whether its charging network keeps pace with electric vehicle adoption. More than 600 charge points across over 240 locations gives drivers more places to recharge, yet coverage matters as much as the headline count. Motorists need reliable stations along intercity routes, in busy urban areas and near places they already visit.
Charging access can help reduce range anxiety, but consistency, uptime and clear pricing also shape the ownership experience. The recognition is a useful milestone; sustained investment and dependable service will determine how much confidence it builds among Filipino EV buyers.
