Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) is bringing back a familiar symbol to the local commercial vehicle industry with the relaunch of the Mitsubishi-Fuso three-diamond logo in the Philippines. The reintroduction marks a return to a visual identity closely associated with the brand’s heritage, while SFP looks to maintain its focus on providing commercial mobility solutions to customers in the country.
According to SFP President and CEO Yosuke Nishi, the return of the Mitsubishi Fuso Three-Diamond logo represents the company’s connection to its tradition while continuing to support the Philippines’ transport and logistics industry.
“The reintroduction of the Mitsubishi Fuso Three-Diamond logo in the Philippines celebrates our love for tradition as we continue driving the nation toward progress through reliable commercial mobility solutions,” Nishi said.
He added that while the company’s visual identity has evolved to honor its roots, its commitment to reliable products, quality service, and long-term customer partnerships remains unchanged.

The Mitsubishi Fuso Three-Diamond logo will not appear everywhere at once. Customers will gradually begin seeing the refreshed branding across Mitsubishi Fuso Philippines’ digital platforms, marketing materials, dealerships, events, and other brand touchpoints.
For SFP, the move is more than a visual refresh. The company said the updated brand identity builds on its established legacy of innovation and trusted performance, while retaining the values that have guided it for decades.
As the Philippine transport and logistics sector continues to evolve, SFP said it remains committed to supporting the changing requirements of its customers and partners.
The return of the Mitsubishi Fuso Three-Diamond logo therefore gives the brand a more familiar face in the local market, while signaling that its longstanding approach to commercial mobility remains firmly in place.
For customers, the change will become increasingly visible as the new branding is rolled out across Mitsubishi Fuso’s various touchpoints throughout the Philippines.

Autocar’s Take
For the record, the Mitsubishi three-diamond logo technically never left Fuso. What’s new here is that Fuso is now bringing back the logo as part of its overall branding (streamers, posters, signages, among others), not just a thing to physically see on its commercial vehicles’ front grilles.
That said, the return of the Mitsubishi Fuso three-diamond logo is an interesting move because it shows how much a familiar badge can matter in the commercial vehicle market. Trucks are ultimately about reliability and doing the job, but branding still carries a sense of familiarity and trust, particularly for businesses that depend on their vehicles every day.
The Mitsubishi Fuso brand has long been associated with commercial mobility in the Philippines, so bringing back its traditional logo gives the company an opportunity to reconnect with that heritage. More importantly, the branding change will need to be backed by the same products and service customers have come to expect.
