Aside from showing its support to the Philippine government’s push for electrified vehicles, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is also doing its part in contributing to the country’s blood donation program. As such, its volunteer efforts were honored by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Laguna Chapter with a Certificate of Recognition and Galloner Award.
The recognition given by the PRC to MMPC is for the car brand’s unwavering support in helping strengthen the nation’s blood supply and advance humanitarian efforts. The Japanese car brand shared that it has earned the distinction from the PRC after contributing 404 blood units through a series of voluntary blood donation initiatives conducted from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
MMPC said that the recognition is a testament to the collective effort of the car brand’s management, employees, and volunteer blood donors who continuously support PRC’s mission of ensuring the availability of safe and adequate blood for patients in need.
The PRC also honored six MMPC employees from the Manufacturing Division with the Galloner Award. The MMPC employees were recognized for their commitment to voluntary blood donation, having each donated at least one gallon of blood through eight or more donations. The Galloner Award awardees are the following: Garizaldy Diaz, Kevin Mendros, Marijoyce Pellogo, Mark Kevin Galang, John Patrick Hardillo, and Nazer Lopez.

Mitsubishi PH said that it is holding regular blood donation activities, conducted quarterly throughout the year. The company added that it is encouraging its employees to participate in life-saving initiatives while fostering a culture of volunteerism, compassion, and community involvement.
“This recognition reinforces MMPC’s commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian service. Through continued collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross, MMPC remains dedicated not just to promoting voluntary blood donation, but also to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others,” said MMPC Safety, Health & Environment Department Vice President Marfel Ancheta.
Beyond manufacturing vehicles, MMPC remains committed to creating positive social impact through programs that promote health, safety, and community welfare. The car brand noted that the recognition from the PRC serves as another testament to MMPC’s belief that meaningful partnerships and the collective efforts of its employees can make a lasting impact in the lives of many Filipinos. In fact, last year, MMPC was awarded the PRC Blood Service Platinum Award for its solid support of PRC’s programs centered on promoting voluntary blood donations, as well as organizing its own mobile blood donation drives.
