GWM Philippines is all set to expand its model lineup as the Haval H9 is officially making its local debut on February 4, 2026. The GWM Haval H9 is a seven-seater SUV that is designed to deliver both off-road capability and everyday comfort.
First previewed at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), the GWM Haval H9 showcases the car brand’s commitment to pushing the limits of innovation and adventure. GWM PH said that the Haval H9 stands as one of the brand’s most extensively developed and tested SUVs.
The Chinese car brand added that the engineering integrated into the Haval H9 has been validated across some of the world’s most demanding environments, from the rainforests of Brazil and mountain roads of Australia, to the deserts of the Middle East and snow-covered terrains of Russia. This means that GWM is confident that its Haval H9 SUV will not disappoint, as it has been said to have undergone extensive vehicle testing.

GWM PH also shared that the Haval H9 has been fine-tuned and tested to ensure that it meets the driving conditions in the Philippine market. As such, the car brand said that it is a vehicle that can offer reliability, which can serve as both a family seven-seater SUV and an adventure-ready 4×4 machine.
The official PH-specs of the Haval H9 have yet to be confirmed by GWM. But, based on its preview during the 2025 MIAS, the 2026 GWM Haval H9 could most likely be powered by a 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine that delivers 184 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is also expected that the Haval H9’s transmission could be paired with BorgWarner’s Torque-On-Demand 4WD system and mechanical locking differentials.

The 2026 GWM Haval H9 could also come with a 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a sunroof, and a 540-degree around view camera.
The GWM Haval H9 officially launches in the Philippines on February 4, 2026.
