Aside from offering electric vehicles, such as the VF 3, VinFast Philippines has also started to venture into the motorcycle market. Among the electric motorcycles that VinFast PH currently offers is the Viper, which is being positioned by the brand to challenge the popular 125cc scooters in the local market.
The VinFast Viper comes with an introductory price that starts at P73,900. It is an electric motorcycle that is said to have a top speed of up to 90 km/h, while offering battery swapping. As such, VinFast PH shared three reasons why the Viper e-motorcycle can be your next commuter.
Sporty performance without the try-hard exterior
VinFast shares that the Viper comes with sharp body lines, angular lighting signatures, and a sporty stance. As such, this VinFast e-motorcycle features a youthful and assertive demeanor, which resembles the design of the 125cc motorcycles in the local market today.
The Viper also comes equipped with a 5,200W BLDC in-wheel motor capable of reaching speeds of up to 90km/h, according to VinFast. Adding to the list of features is the Viper’s TFT instrument display, a Smart Key system with remote locating and tracking functions, projector headlamps, and dual rear shock absorbers with external reservoirs.
Under the seat, VinFast said that the Viper can accommodate two removable LFP batteries, which allows the e-motorcycle to travel up to 150 kilometers.
Drive confidently with battery swapping
As an electric motorcycle, VinFast thought of a way to make EV charging more convenient and faster. The Vietnamese brand’s approach to charging wait times is a battery-swapping ecosystem, which is said to give owners two ways to keep riding.
Owners who are subscribed to VinFast’s battery subscription program can swap depleted batteries at V-Green’s battery-swapping stations, or simply remove the batteries and recharge them at home using a standard household outlet.
VinFast explains that each battery swap costs just P35, while customers enrolled in the battery subscription program can also take advantage of VinFast’s introductory promotion. Those who subscribe on or before July 31, 2026, receive a free subscription for one battery during the first 12 months, along with up to 20 free battery swaps every month during the promotional period.
VinFast’s charging partner, V-Green, also plans to roll out around 30,000 battery-swapping stations across the Philippines, with the initial deployment beginning through VinFast dealerships before expanding nationwide. The company has not announced a completion timeline.
No extra cost to switch
Under the battery subscription model, the VinFast Viper starts at P73,900. For riders who opt to own the battery outright, the Viper is available at P86,600 with one battery or P99,300 with two batteries. Those opting for the battery subscription model pay a monthly fee of P439 for one battery or P799 for two batteries, while enjoying access to VinFast’s battery-swapping network.
