Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines is expanding its footprint in Southern Luzon with the opening of two new dealerships in Cavite, solidifying its nationwide retail network ahead of the highly anticipated launch of the all-electric J5 EV this July. The expansion highlights the company’s continued commitment to making intelligent mobility and new energy vehicles (NEVs) more accessible to Filipino motorists while strengthening customer support across the country.

The company officially inaugurated Omoda & Jaecoo Kawit on June 23 under Evision Auto before opening Omoda & Jaecoo Dasmariñas on June 25 under Central Auto Resources Inc. The back-to-back launches represent another milestone in the young brand’s rapid local growth, bringing its expanding lineup of premium SUVs, hybrid models, and electric vehicles closer to customers in Cavite and neighboring provinces. Both facilities also offer complete sales and aftersales services to support current and future owners.

Adding a glimpse of its broader mobility vision, Omoda & Jaecoo showcased Aimoga, its AI-powered humanoid robot, together with the intelligent Robodog during both dealership inaugurations. The interactive demonstrations highlighted how the brand sees artificial intelligence and connected technologies becoming part of future mobility experiences beyond simply driving a vehicle.

The Cavite expansion comes as Omoda & Jaecoo prepares for the official market introduction of the J5 EV. The electric crossover first attracted significant attention during its Philippine debut at the Philippine International Motor Show, where it generated strong interest from the public, dealers, and members of the automotive media. Its official launch this July will include vehicle displays, product presentations, immersive brand activities, and public test drives.

Developed as part of the company’s NEV strategy, the J5 EV combines contemporary styling, intelligent safety systems, advanced connectivity, and everyday practicality aimed at Filipino drivers transitioning to electric mobility. The growing dealership network is expected to provide greater confidence among prospective buyers by ensuring convenient access to sales, service, and aftersales support.

With additional dealerships, expanding electrified vehicle offerings, and continued investments in intelligent mobility technologies, Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines continues strengthening its position in the local automotive industry while building momentum for the official arrival of the J5 EV and supporting the country’s growing shift toward sustainable transportation solutions.

Autocar’s Take

Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines clearly understands that launching an EV takes more than introducing a new model. Building dealerships before the J5 EV officially arrives gives potential buyers greater confidence that sales, service, and aftersales support are already in place. That approach matters in a market where many consumers remain cautious about EV ownership. Expanding into Cavite also makes strategic sense, considering the province’s growing automotive market.
