Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) aims to further make its presence felt in the local market as it enters the second half of 2026. To do just that, it has revamped the XForce variant lineup by introducing a new GLX entry-level trim, as well as integrating added features for the GLS and GT variants.
The new Mitsubishi XForce GLX variant was first previewed by the Japanese car brand during the 10th Philippine International Motor Show. As previously mentioned, the new XForce GLX looks similar to its variant siblings, but a closer look reveals subtle design changes. The GLX trim is fitted with a simpler front bumper that’s finished in monotone black compared to the other XForce trim that has a two-tone accent.
Despite being an entry-level trim, the Mitsubishi XForce GLX comes with LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED fog lights. It then sits on a set of 17-inch alloy wheels, while the Red Metallic paint is an exclusive exterior color for the new XForce GLX variant.
Inside, the XForce GLX has fabric seats, an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker system, a reverse camera, an analog gauge cluster, and a center floor console with a cooling function. The XForce GLX also comes with an engine start/stop button, an electric parking brake with auto hold function, active stability and traction control, and active yaw control.
The Mitsubishi XForce GLX is powered by the same 1.5-liter gasoline engine that produces 104 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT. The GLX trim is priced at P1,119,000, but Mitsubishi PH is offering the XForce GLX with an introductory price of P1,049,000, which will run until July 31, 2026.
Meanwhile, MMPC has also enhanced the XForce GLS variant with additional features that are said to further elevate comfort, convenience, and everyday confidence. The updated GLS is now equipped with leather seats with Heat Guard, which MMPC claims helps maintain cabin comfort even under the heat of the sun. The XForce GLS trim is now also equipped with cruise control, as well as a multi-around monitor that offers better visibility and confidence when maneuvering in tight spaces in the city.
Mitsubishi PH is also offering the Jet Black Mica exterior paint exclusively to the GLS variant. The Mitsubishi XForce GLS also comes with the same 1.5-liter gasoline engine but has four drive modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud.
On the other hand, the top-spec XForce GT is integrated with new features such as the panoramic sunroof, multi-around monitor, and an 8-way power-adjust driver seat. It is also equipped with interior ambient lighting, hands-free power tailgate, and Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium (8 speakers). Other features found on the GT trim are the following: 12.3-inch infotainment with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, dual zone climate control with nanoe X, and its two-tone leather seats come with Heat Guard.
Similar to the other Mitsubishi XForce variants, the top-spec GT trim is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine mated to a CVT. It also has four drive modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud.
The pricing for the revamped Mitsubishi XForce variant lineup is as follows:
– XForce GLX CVT: P1,119,000
– XForce GLS CVT: P1,299,000
– XForce GT CVT: P1,661,000
