Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) recently held its annual Mitsubishi Skills Olympics (MSO). The event reinforces the brand’s mission to strengthen dealership capabilities and enhance the customer experience across its nationwide dealer network.
The competition gathered top-performing teams from MMPC dealerships across the country, challenging them in key areas such as sales, technical service, and customer relations. This year’s edition bannered the theme “Mitsubishi Forward: Beyond the Sale, Beyond the Service,” highlighting the importance of delivering consistent customer support throughout the ownership experience.
Union Motor Corporation emerged as the overall champion, outperforming other participating dealership teams with strong results across multiple categories. Moreover, individual roles were honored, including sales executives, service technicians, customer relations officers, and parts and warranty personnel.
The Mitsubishi Skills Olympics serves as both a benchmarking exercise and a training platform, allowing participants to demonstrate and further hone their competencies through a combination of both theoretical and practical assessments. According to MMPC, the initiative plays a crucial role in ensuring that frontline personnel are equipped to meet evolving customer expectations.
Winners received cash incentives and overseas trips, further motivating dealer staff to pursue excellence in their respective fields. Top performers may also be selected to represent the Philippines in future global service skills competitions, providing international exposure and additional development opportunities.
