Chevrolet Philippines has strengthened its presence in the local motorsport scene. The American bowtie brand was named the official mobility partner of the Philippine Drift Series 2026, one of the country’s fastest-growing automotive events. The partnership was announced by Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Chevrolet in the Philippines, as part of the brand’s continuing efforts to connect with Filipino car enthusiasts and support the growth of motorsport culture nationwide.

Now in its fourth year, the Philippine Drift Series has established itself as a major gathering for professional drifters, performance car owners, automotive brands, and fans of precision driving. The series has helped elevate drifting as a motorsport discipline while providing a platform for showcasing vehicle technology, driver skill, and automotive innovation. Chevrolet Philippines brought several of its latest vehicles to the Philippine Arena in Bulacan during the June 20 event. Featured models included the All-New Chevrolet Spark EUV, the Chevrolet Captiva EV, and the Chevrolet Groove.

Visitors were given the opportunity to get a closer look at Chevrolet’s evolving vehicle lineup, which highlights the brand’s push toward modern mobility solutions while maintaining the style and practicality expected by Filipino motorists. Selected Chevrolet vehicles were also made available for test drives, allowing guests to experience their performance and features firsthand.

The partnership also aligns Chevrolet with a growing community of enthusiasts who continue to fuel interest in motorsports, performance vehicles, and automotive lifestyle events across the Philippines. Industry observers note that automotive brands are increasingly turning to experiential events such as drifting competitions and enthusiast gatherings to engage consumers beyond traditional showroom visits.

With the Philippine Drift Series attracting a mix of racers, hobbyists, and automotive fans, Chevrolet’s participation provides another avenue for the brand to showcase its latest products while reinforcing its commitment to performance, innovation, and customer engagement in the Philippine automotive market.

Autocar’s Take

Chevrolet’s partnership with the Philippine Drift Series 2026 is a natural fit. Motorsport events remain one of the best ways for car brands to connect with enthusiasts, as they allow people to experience vehicles in an environment driven by passion and performance. While Chevrolet’s featured models at the event are geared toward modern mobility and everyday driving, their presence in a drifting event helps broaden the conversation around the brand. More importantly, the partnership shows continued support for the local automotive community.
