AP Cargo continues to expand its logistics capabilities as it adds new trucks to its growing fleet. The cargo and delivery company recently took delivery of five brand-new Fuso Canter trucks from Fuso Tarlac, which is owned and operated by Christian General Motors Inc. Through a turnover ceremony held last March 3, 2026, the achievement marked another milestone in AP cargo’s ongoing fleet expansion.
The latest acquisition is part of AP Cargo’s efforts to meet rising delivery demand across the Philippines while improving efficiency within its logistics network. As e-commerce, inter-island trade, and provincial deliveries continue to grow, logistic providers such as AP Cargo are now increasing their investments in transport infrastructure and vehicle fleets.
Representatives from Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation, the official local distributor of Fuso commercial vehicles, welcomed the continued partnership with AP Cargo. The Japanese commercial vehicle brand expressed confidence that the new Fuso Canter units will help AP Cargo further improve its logistics capabilities.

“We sincerely thank AP Cargo for its continued trust in Fuso. We remain dedicated to providing durable and dependable transport solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently and grow with confidence. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with AP Cargo and supporting their mission of connecting people and businesses across the Philippines.” said Mr. Yosuke Nishi, President & CEO of Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation.
The Fuso Canter has built a strong reputation in the local commercial sector for its durability, reliability, and productivity. These qualities have made it a popular choice for logistics companies, cargo operators, and businesses that require dependable light-duty trucks for daily delivery operations.
With the addition of five new units, AP Cargo now operates a fleet of more than 300 Fuso trucks. The continued investment reflects the company’s steady growth and its commitment to strengthening its logistics network nationwide.
Autocar’s Take
Fleet expansion is one of the most important steps a logistics company must take in order to grow, business-wise. It plays an important role in how efficiently goods move across the country. AP Cargo’s addition of new Fuso trucks is an example of how transport companies must continue to invest in equipment to keep up with the demand. In the Philippines, commercial vehicles like the ones made by Fuso remain the backbone of delivery networks that connect cities, provinces, and small businesses.
AP Cargo’s move to add new units also strengthens its partnership with Fuso, a relationship built on reliability and operational trust. As logistics demand continues to grow alongside e-commerce and regional trade, investments like this help keep supply chains running smoothly.
