Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), in partnership with Southern Auto Mart and Trading Corporation (SAMTC), celebrated the 60th anniversary of Isuzu Bacolod. At a recently held reopening ceremony, the six-decade-old facility now aligns with the Isuzu Outlet Standard (IOS) design philosophy, as part of IPC’s dealership modernization program.

The new Isuzu Bacolod stands on a 3,000 sqm area, and is fitted with features aimed at strengthening its customer experience and aftersales services. Its showroom occupies 374 sqm of the total area and is designed to accommodate three light commercial vehicle (LCV) displays, plus one commercial vehicle (CV) unit. A customer and sales lounge has been added to provide a more comfortable setting for clients to discuss vehicle options, service, and purchasing matters.

The body repair shop has now been relocated to a more strategic part of the building. This ensures faster vehicle turnaround time. The service area, on the other hand, covers 1,612 square meters of the total lot and has been renovated to feature improved lighting and ventilation. Moreover, the service area boasts fifteen LCV service bays and one slot for light-to-medium duty trucks. This architectural revamp improves the dealership’s individual and fleet servicing performance.

Isuzu Bacolod’s historic reopening and modernization called for a week-long celebration that started with the first leg of the Isuzu Xperience Mobility Tour at SM Bacolod, featuring the Isuzu D-Max and mu-X. It concluded with a program that honored employees, introduced SAMTC’s updated branding identity, and highlighted the company’s decades of service to the Bacolod community.

“We at IPC are honored to celebrate an incredible milestone with Isuzu Bacolod, 60 years after it first opened its doors. Now aligned with IOS standards, Isuzu Bacolod is more equipped to meet the demands of this thriving city. Together with our partner SAMTC, we aim to deliver unmatched Sales and Aftersales services through the upgraded showroom and customer lounge, as well as the bright and well-ventilated service area,” said IPC President Mikio Tsukui.
