Isuzu is one of those brands defined by pedigree in venerable utility vehicles, from the enduring workhorse N-Series to legendary off-roaders like the Trooper and now the D-Max, as shown by Overland Kings (OK).
Earlier this year, Overland Kings held its 2026 season of its annual Campout at Crystal Beach in Zambales, one of the biggest off-roading events in the Philippine Off-roading scene, with this year’s being especially sizeable thanks to the record number of attendees this year.
The crown jewel at this event? Isuzu Philippines participated with a D-Max 4×4 LS-E, fitted with numerous OK accessories, including a Mammoth rooftop tent, OVK awning, and Mammoth crossbars.

Being powered by the 4JJ3-TCX Blue Power diesel engine, mated to a bulletproof 4WD drivetrain with features like diff lock, and Isuzu’s own Rough Terrain mode. Add the pickup’s high ground clearance, durable ladder frame, and suspension system, and it shows that not only is the D-Max capable of these kinds of activities, but it was made for it.
Isuzu Philippines’ sales division head Robert Carlos has also praised the Parañaque-based off-roading outfit by saying, “We commend Overland Kings for consistently promoting the outdoor lifestyle within the automotive community and for bringing together such a large and passionate group of enthusiasts in one venue. Events like this strengthen the community and inspire more Filipinos to explore, travel, and connect with nature.”
Over the years, Isuzu has cemented its position in the automotive market as the go-to name for vehicles, from duty-bred commercial trucks to off-road vehicles. When you see the Isuzu badge on it, it’s safe to say it’s something to trust.
