Last July, we reported that the Lexus RZ 350e battery electric vehicle (BEV) has secured homologation documents from the Land Transportation Office (LTO), an indication that it would soon be launched in the local market. Weeks after the news, Lexus Philippines has now updated the RZ model lineup.
According to Lexus PH’s official website, the updated RZ BEV comes in two variants: RZ 350e Core and RZ 500e Luxury. The Lexus RZ 350e is priced at P4,438,000, while the Lexus RZ 500e Luxury comes with a price tag of P5,428,000.
The updated Lexus RZ comes with a striking design, highlighted by its sharp-looking headlights and bold front fascia. It has a low stance, sleek body lines, and a new spindle body design. Inside, it has a driver-oriented dashboard layout along with a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, an 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, front seat ventilation & heater, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and a digital rearview mirror.
In terms of infotainment, the updated Lexus RZ is fitted with a 14-inch screen that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Meanwhile, the Lexus RZ 500e Luxury is equipped with a Mark Levinson premium surround sound system.
The Lexus RZ is also integrated with comprehensive safety tech, including Lexus Safety System+, parking assist monitor, blind spot monitor, panoramic view monitor, rear cross traffic alert (for the RZ 500e), among many others.
A 77 kWh battery pack is standard across Lexus RZ BEV variants. The RZ 300e Core has a total system output of 227 horsepower and 269 Nm of torque. Lexus claims it can go from zero to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. On the other hand, the RZ 500e Luxury comes with dual motors that generate a total power output of 313 horsepower and 269 Nm of torque (per motor). It can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The total driving range for the Lexus RZ 500e is rated at 535 kilometers.

Lexus Philippines has quietly updated the RZ model lineup. Based on its official website, Lexus PH is currently offering two variants for the updated RZ: the RZ 300e Core and the RZ 500e Luxury. The introduction of the updated RZ models is an indication that Lexus PH aims to keep its model lineup fresh by offering new models that could compete in the growing battery electric vehicle segment. Currently, Tesla and VinFast are the automakers that are going head-to-head in the BEV segment, as per data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI).
