The Toyota Raize is one of the most popular vehicles in the Philippines, and a testament to this is its place among the top 10 best-selling cars in the country in 2025. As such, the Raize is among the important vehicles in Toyota Motor Philippines’ local model lineup.

Toyota PH first introduced the Raize back in 2022, and since then, it has become one of the most popular Toyota vehicles in the local market. Globally, it has been on the market for over six years, having launched in 2019. With that, the Raize is now due for a next-generation model, since the model cycle of most vehicles is five to six years.

In other words, the Raize is reaching or has arguably already reached the age where Toyota would normally introduce a successor or a notable generational shift. However, Toyota has yet to make an official announcement about the next-generation Raize, as of this writing.

While we wait for Toyota’s announcement, Japanese online automotive publication Response published unofficial renders made by well-known digital automotive artist Theottle. The said artist imagines that the next-generation Toyota Raize will come with a RAV4-like design.

In his unofficial renders, Throttle integrated the Raize with sharp-looking headlights and a grille with a honeycomb pattern, which are design elements seen on the all-new Toyota RAV4 Limited. The similarities can also be seen on the front bumper, as well as on the fender flares and black body cladding.

At the rear, the unofficial renders also show a RAV4-like finish, as seen on the taillights and the bumper. The black cladding on the rear also follows the trims fitted on the all-new RAV4. Overall, it’s as if the Raize becomes an unofficial shrunken version of the all-new RAV4.

As mentioned, the images shown here are unofficial renders courtesy of Theottle. Toyota has yet to release official details as to when it will be introducing an all-new Raize.

Autocar’s Take

The unofficial renders showing the Raize with RAV4-like design look great, as it makes Toyota’s subcompact crossover more aggressive-looking and bolder. It makes the Raize a shrunken version of the all-new RAV4, which is not new when talking about Toyota vehicles. One example of this is the Toyota Rush, which is regarded by many as a smaller version of the Fortuner when it comes to its design.

While the Raize with RAV4-like design looks nice, Toyota has yet to make an official announcement about its plans for the Raize. Of note, the Raize has been on the market since 2019, which makes it a candidate for a new model cycle.
