Continuing its commitment to bring state-of-the-art US-made electric vehicles (EVs) closer to more Filipinos, Tesla Philippines has announced its return to Opus Mall with a limited-time pop-up activation store. The brand’s return to the high-end lifestyle mall at the Bridgetown Destination Estate in Quezon City is expected to offer visitors the chance to test-drive its latest models and avail of exclusive ownership perks.

According to Tesla Philippines, the pop-up store is located on the Ground Floor of Opus Mall and will run from January 24 to February 5, 2026. The temporary mall location is open to allow all visitors and prospective buyers to view and take pictures of Tesla’s popular EV models: the Model 3 sedan and Model Y SUV. Mall goers will also be able to engage in discussions with Tesla brand representatives and participate in scheduled test drives to get a better feel for how the models move on the road.

As part of the limited-time initiative, Tesla Philippines is offering comprehensive insurance included with every Tesla vehicle purchase. The company stated that the added coverage is intended to provide Tesla owners with greater peace of mind, thus enhancing the overall value of vehicle ownership. In addition, Tesla Philippines highlighted flexible ownership options, with monthly payments starting at P29,990, allowing buyers to better experience Tesla and to adapt to electrified mobility more easily.

While its stay at the Opus Mall is short, Tesla Philippines reassured that those unable to visit the area can still experience Tesla and learn more about its EV technology. The brand said that those interested in knowing more or availing a Tesla may visit the Tesla Center in Bonifacio Global City and the Tesla pop-up store at Alabang Town Center, located in front of Kiwami. These locations help the brand maintain a visible retail and experiential presence in key commercial and lifestyle destinations in the metro.

Autocar’s take

Tesla Philippines’ return to Opus Mall clearly shows how experiential retail remains central to EV adoption. By placing vehicles and offering test drives in high-traffic lifestyle spaces, Tesla effectively lowers the barrier between curiosity and actual ownership.

The inclusion of comprehensive insurance and well-defined monthly pricing further addresses common concerns like ownership costs and security. While the pop-up store is temporary, it reinforces the importance of physical interactions between customers and the vehicles, as well as Tesla brand representatives, an important aspect in a market where EV awareness is still developing. More than a sales push, the Opus Mall presence serves as an educational platform, allowing consumers to experience and learn more about electrified mobility in familiar surroundings.
