
Tesla Philippines is offering the Model Y and the Model 3 with a free 1-year comprehensive insurance, which is a limited-time promo that intends to make car ownership more hassle-free.
Tesla said that individuals who will drive home a brand-new Model Y or Model 3 are entitled to a free 1-year comprehensive insurance provided by Oona Insurance Philippines. The insurance coverage starts from the date of vehicle release, and the free comprehensive insurance is valid for 12 months or one year.
Aside from having a more hassle-free car ownership experience, future owners of the Tesla Model Y and Model 3 will have more peace of mind. This is because comprehensive car insurance provides a broad coverage that protects a vehicle from risks such as theft, vandalism, and natural disasters, among others.

Tesla noted that the free 1-year comprehensive insurance is for private use only and cannot be transferred, converted to cash, or sold. Moreover, the insurance will be registered under the same name as the vehicle’s registered owner.
The free 1-year comprehensive insurance for the Model Y and Model 3 is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies last.
The Tesla Model Y now comes with a new variant, which is the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive trim. The said Model Y variant features up to 661 kilometers (WLTP) of electric range on a single charge. Tesla said that the Model Y Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive variant delivers the longest electric range among the model’s variant lineup. Of note, Tesla PH is offering the Model Y with a monthly payment plan of P38,810.
The Tesla Model 3, on the other hand, is designed with an aerodynamic exterior, which allows it to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, according to Tesla. The refreshed Model 3 also offers a single-charge range of up to 660 km (WLTP).
