Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) supports the Bureau of Fire Protection’s (BFP) mission in responding to fires and other emergencies by giving the agency’s fleet a boost. This is made possible by turning over a unit of a locally manufactured Mitsubishi L300 to the BFP Region 4A, in time for the national fire prevention month.

MMPC said that the turnover of the PH-made L300 further highlights the practical role of commercial vehicles in public safety operations, particularly in emergency response, logistics, and rapid deployment. The Japanese car brand added that the L300 is well-suited for the operational requirements of frontline agencies such as the BFP due to the vehicle’s compact design, payload capacity, and “proven reliability.”

MMPC President and CEO Ritsu Imaeda underscored the importance of supporting emergency responders through dependable equipment.

“The Bureau of Fire Protection plays a vital role in safeguarding lives and communities. Through the donation of the L300 we aim to support the BFP’s operational requirements and help ensure that our firefighters are equipped with a reliable vehicle capable of performing under demanding conditions,” said Imaeda.

Guiyab noted that the L300 turned over by Mitsubishi shows the strong partnership between the car brand and the agency, with the common goal of further enhancing public safety and community service.

“The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 4A sincerely expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation for its continued support and generosity to the BFP, particularly to the BFP Sta. Rosa City Fire Station, Laguna. This support and initiative to the Bureau reflects strong partnership built on shared commitment to public safety and community service,” Guiyab shared.
