Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines has entered a strategic partnership with the Autohub Group, one of the country’s biggest automotive distributors. The agreement, signed at the brand’s headquarters in Wuhu, China, marks a major step in Omoda & Jaecoo’s expansion efforts in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia.

The signing ceremony was led by Autohub Group President and Dealer Principal Willy Q. Tee Ten and Hu Chun, President of Omoda & Jaecoo’s East Asia-Pacific Region. Both executives highlighted the importance of the Philippine market in the brand’s regional growth plan, particularly for their new energy vehicles (NEV) and premium off-road offerings.

According to Hu Chun, the Autohub group’s established network and strong service reputation provide a solid foundation for Omoda & Jaecoo’s entry and long-term development in the Philippines. He described the agreement as a collaborative effort to elevate the automotive experience for Filipino buyers.

As part of the partnership, Autohub Group will set up three Omoda & Jaecoo dealerships in Calamba, North EDSA, and Otis. These locations will offer full sales and after-sales services, and will carry the complete lineup of both the Omoda and Jaecoo brands. The expansion is seen as a move to ensure consistent service standards and to strengthen brand accessibility in major urban areas.

The selection of the locations aligns with a broader strategy to establish a strong retail footprint in high-value economic zones. Calamba, situated within the fast-growing CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) region ,is viewed as a gateway to Southern Luzon’s expanding industrial and residential communities. The North EDSA dealership, meanwhile, will address the dense consumer base of Quezon City and surrounding northern districts, an area known for heavy commercial activity and foot traffic from major retail centers. Finally, the Otis dealership will serve Manila City’s core commercial and residential zones, which both companies see as key to improving brand visibility in one of the most competitive automotive hotspots in the country.

Omoda & Jaeco expect the rollout of these facilities to contribute to local economic activity through capital investment and job generation. The partnership also signals Omoda & Jaecoo’s intention to establish a long-term presence in the Philippines by aligning its network expansion with regional development and consumer demand.
