Suzuki Philippines, Inc. (SPH) has started construction of a new 3S dealership in Lucena City, following a groundbreaking ceremony held along Diversion Road in Barangay Ilayang Dupat, Quezon. The new dealership will be owned and operated by Sakura Autoworld, Inc.

SPH strategically pinned the new 3S dealership in Lucena as it sees the area as one of the thriving commercial hubs in South Luzon, where strong market demand for vehicles has been observed. Upon completion, the facility will serve as Suzuki’s latest expansion point in South Luzon, and is expected to improve sales and after-sales services for customers in Lucena and its neighboring municipalities.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, representatives from both SPH and Sakura Autoworld highlighted the dealership’s role in strengthening the Japanese brand’s presence in the region. Suzuki executives emphasised that the development is also intended to reinforce long-term partnership with Sakura Autoworld and extend services to a wider customer base in Quezon Province.

The soon-to-rise facility will become Sakura Autoworld’s 16th Suzuki dealership across Luzon and Visayas. For Suzuki, the project is part of its ongoing effort to bring its vehicle lineup and after-sales network closer to provincial markets. Construction is expected to progress in the coming months, with both companies aiming to open the doors as soon as staffing and facility preparations are complete.

“Today’s groundbreaking marks more than just the start of construction. It signifies continued growth, stronger collaboration, and shared success between Suzuki Philippines and Sakura Autoworld. Together, we are not only building a dealership, we are building opportunities, trust, and a stronger connection with the community,” shared Norihide Takei, Director and General Manager for the Automobile Division of Suzuki Philippines.

Suzuki Philippines continues to operate a nationwide network of dealers, offering the brand’s range of compact cars and utility vehicles. Customers may visit Suzuki’s official websites and social media channels for updates on the Lucena facility and other dealership developments.
