Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South) reaffirmed its commitment to community development by participating in the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2025 initiative, themed “Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa.” As part of its contribution, the company donated 900 school supply kits to selected public schools in Cavite and Parañaque from June 9 to 11, 2025.
The initiative aims to ease the financial burden of families and ensure that students are adequately equipped for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. Beneficiary schools included Alapan II-B and Malagasang II-B Barangay Halls, Hipolito Saquilayan High School, and Alapan II-A Elementary School in Imus; Tibig Elementary School in Silang; Cecilio M. Saliba Elementary School, Governor Ferrer Memorial Integrated National High School, and General Trias Memorial Elementary School in General Trias; Florante Ilano Elementary School and Binakayan National High School in Kawit; Perville Daycare Center, Sto. Niño Elementary School, and San Dionisio Elementary School in Parañaque; and Salinas Elementary School and Longos Elementary School in Bacoor.
Each kit was carefully prepared with essential school supplies such as ballpens, notebooks, pad paper, and crayons—basic tools intended to encourage learning and help students start the school year prepared.
A notable highlight of the program was the turnover ceremony at Salinas Elementary School, which coincided with Bacoor City’s official launch of Brigada Eskwela 2025. The event was attended by Cavite 2nd District Representative Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, who expressed appreciation for MPT South’s involvement. “Taos-puso akong nagpapasalamat sa CAVITEX para sa kanilang aktibong pakikilahok sa Brigada Eskwela dito sa Bacoor. Malaking tulong ang inyong suporta at volunteer work sa paghahanda ng ating mga paaralan para sa ligtas at maayos na pagbabalik ng ating mga mag-aaral,” she said.

Arlette V. Capistrano, Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management at MPT South, emphasized the company’s broader mission. “We believe that our role in nation-building goes beyond the roads and expressways we build. It also means supporting the communities we operate in—especially the students who represent the future of those communities. Brigada Eskwela has always been a meaningful way for us to give back.”
This effort forms part of MPT South’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which includes initiatives in education, the environment, road safety, and livelihood development.
