MPT South earns Bronze Stevie Award for Road Safety Advocacy

MPT South was honored with a Bronze Stevie Award in the Innovation in Communications/Public Relations category at the 12th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, held in Seoul. The recognition was given for the company’s Drayberks Road Safety Advocacy Campaign—its first Stevie Award—highlighting MPT South’s expanding role in promoting road safety and responsible mobility in the Philippines.

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are regarded as one of the most prestigious business accolades in the region, recognizing excellence and innovation across 29 markets. The awards form part of the globally recognized Stevie Awards platform, which includes The International Business Awards, now in its 23rd year.

Launched in 2018, the Drayberks Road Safety Advocacy Program is MPT South’s flagship initiative aimed at fostering safer roads through continuous education. Designed for a wide range of road users—including public utility drivers, logistics companies, and transport cooperatives—the program goes beyond conventional one-time seminars. It offers a sustained, adaptable learning framework that bridges the gap between traffic laws and their practical implementation.

The program was recognized by the Stevie Awards committee for its innovative public engagement strategy and its measurable impact on commuter safety in Metro Manila and Southern Luzon.

“We are deeply honored to receive our first Stevie Award for the Drayberks Road Safety Campaign,” said Ms. Elnora D. Rumawak, Officer-in-Charge of MPT South. “Our aim has always been to empower drivers with knowledge and tools to be safer on the road. This award affirms our continued commitment to innovation, collaboration, and public service.”

Maggie Miller, President of the Stevie Awards, noted, “This year’s winners have clearly demonstrated a commitment to innovation. We commend their creative and resilient approaches.”
