Yllana Racing, in collaboration with Okada Manila, is proud to announce the return of one of the Philippines’ most anticipated automotive festivals: the Okada Manila Motorsport Carnivale 2025, kicking off on May 4 at Okada Manila in Parañaque City.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the country’s premier integrated resort — and extending to the Boardwalk and Gardens along the seaside — this year’s event promises an exhilarating celebration of speed, prestige, and passion for Filipino car culture.
The festivities begin at 6:00 AM with an all-day Super Sprint, leading into the Grand Car Meet: Legends of the ’90s at 7:00 PM, a showcase blending high-speed excitement with nostalgia for motoring enthusiasts and families.
Spearheaded by Jomari Yllana, president of Yllana Racing and a longstanding advocate for Philippine motorsports, the Carnivale aims to foster a unified, vibrant motorsport community.
“In partnership with Okada Manila, we are excited to deliver another exceptional motorsport celebration, uniting enthusiasts, families, and fans alike,” said Yllana.
More Races and New Attractions
The adrenaline continues on May 31 with Jom’s Cup, a thrilling ⅛-mile drag race featuring Super Car, Muscle Car, and Vintage Car categories at Okada Manila’s Boardwalk and Gardens.
Adding a modern twist, an Electric Vehicle (EV) showcase with celebrity guests will spotlight sustainable innovation in motoring.
Following the overwhelming success of the Motorsport Carnivale 2023, which attracted over 2,400 vehicles and thousands of spectators, the 2025 edition is set to raise the bar even higher. “We have rekindled the fire of Philippine motorsports—and this is just the beginning,” Yllana emphasized.
Motorsport Carnivale draws inspiration from the golden era of local racing, including the prestigious Philippine Grand Prix of the 1970s, aiming to spark renewed excitement among new generations of fans.
International Standards, Local Excellence
The event is co-led by Rikki Dy-Liacco, Head of Motorsports at the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) and a respected international race steward, ensuring world-class standards across the competitions. “Our goal is to elevate Philippine motorsports to meet global benchmarks,” Dy-Liacco shared.
Okada Manila President and COO Byron Yip added: “Motorsport Carnivale highlights our commitment to diversifying tourism experiences in Entertainment City. It offers families and fans a dynamic, community-driven celebration of automotive culture.”
With its exciting blend of adrenaline, nostalgia, and premier entertainment, the Okada Manila Motorsport Carnivale 2025 promises an unforgettable experience for Filipino families, fans, and future racers.
