Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has expanded its network with the inauguration of the Mitsubishi Motors Silang dealership. The car brand said that its new dealership further strengthens Mitsubishi’s presence in one of the country’s growing economic corridors.
The Mitsubishi Motors Silang is a 3S dealership, which means that it is a facility that offers Sales, Service, and Spare Parts. It is operated by Mizukawa Motors Corporation (MZM) and serves as the company’s second dealership in Cavite.
MMPC President and CEO Ritsu Imaeda said that Mitsubishi Motors Silang demonstrates the Japanese car brand’s commitment to strengthening its network, which is seen as offering potential clients convenient access to Mitsubishi models.
“The opening of Mitsubishi Motors Silang dealership signifies our commitment to strengthen our network in areas with high growth potential to ensure that our customers have convenient access to Mitsubishi Motors’ latest vehicles and aftersales services,” said Imaeda.
Mitsubishi Motors Silang is located along E. Aguinaldo Highway, Lalaan 1st, Silang, Cavite. The dealership occupies a 1,700-square-meter facility on a 4,000-square-meter property. It features a showroom that can accommodate up to six model displays, while also having six service bays to offer quality service to Mitsubishi owners.
Mitsubishi Motors Silang is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Monday to Saturday) and 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Sunday). Customers may contact the dealership at 09178273048.
Aside from expanding its dealership network in the Philippines, Mitsubishi PH has also shown its commitment to support the Philippine government’s electric vehicle (EV) push, as the Electric Vehicle Incentive Strategy (EVIS) Executive Order has been issued.
The EVIS program aims to narrow the price gap between EVs and hybrid cars from traditional motor vehicles, while also boosting local manufacturing of EVs, making the country a regional hub for automotive production. The program will provide fiscal support for the manufacture of hybrid and battery EVs, specifically passenger cars and commercial vehicles. In detail, it includes battery EVs, hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and fuel cell vehicles, including parts and components.
