Italian carmaker, Lamborghini, has introduced a new hypercar that continues its tradition of making ultra rare derivatives of its flagship models. It’s called the Lamborghini Fenomeno, named after a famous Mexican fighting bull in 2022. The Fenomeno is touted as the brand’s most powerful V12 model today.

Unveiled at the 2025 The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering which took place in California during the Monterey Car Week, the Fenomeno stands on the platform of the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). As such, it also has a V12 hybrid powertrain and the Revuelto essence, but takes it all up a notch.

Up front, the Fenomeno features an aggressively designed fascia, headlined by racecar-inspired air intakes and new lighting signatures. It also carries Lamborghini’s new redesigned logo which it introduced in 2024.

Meanwhile, its profile represents a new interpretation of Lamborghini’s beloved wedge shaped silhouette that dates back to the Lamborghini Miura and Countach in the 1960s and 1970s. Lamborghini also said that it took inspiration from its Essenza SCV12 supercar in shaping this new aerodynamic profile.

Towards the back is a line that visually separates the bodywork from the rear wheel arches. These aesthetic elements are complemented by a new wheel design and vertical “Y” shaped tail lights that flank the diffuser and quad exhausts.

Inside is a cockpit that resembles that of racecars. As such, occupants sit low and a little further back for that racing inspired feel and optimized outward visibility. The driver takes the wheel that’s designed to translate those used in racing. Three digital screens replace traditional physical buttons, simplifying the layout. Finally, carbon fiber elements are present in areas such as the center console, door panels, seats, and air vents. Lamborghini says that customers can personalize the interior through its Ad Personam program.

The Lamborghini Fenomeno moves with a 6.5-liver V12 engine that’s hybridized with three electric motors. Combined, these give the Fenomeno a total of 1,064 hp, of which 823 hp of that is generated by the V12. Lamborghini claims that this powerplant enables the hypercar to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, all the way to its declared top speed of over 350 km/h. To compare, the Lamborghini Revuelto produces 1,000 hp, with 813 hp coming from the V12.

Lamborghini didn’t disclose the Fenomeno’s pricing details, but it said that the hypercar will only have 29 units in production, placing it under the brand’s “Few off” models, a distinction it places on its ultra rare creations.
