Chinese carmaker JETOUR, through their official local distributor JETOUR Auto Philippines (JAPI) presented their remarkable expansion and future plans at the 2024 Mid-Year Business Conference held at the Solaire Resort North, Vertis North. The event, attended by executives, officers, and dealership teams from JAPI’s 22 nationwide locations, highlighted the brand’s strategic initiatives and upcoming product launches set to redefine the Philippine automotive landscape.

In 2023, JETOUR’s global footprint soared with exports reaching 112,000 units, marking a staggering 147% year-on-year increase. This growth outpaced China’s overall export rate by 58%, underscoring JETOUR’s emergence as one of China’s fastest-growing automotive brands. Additionally, global sales surged to 82,000 units, reflecting 14 consecutive months of growth and underscoring the brand’s expanding market presence worldwide, including the Philippines.

At the heart of JAPI strategic vision for the Philippines lies a commitment to surpassing milestones set in the preceding year. Managing Director Miguelito Jose reaffirmed this commitment by outlining ambitious objectives for the second half of 2024. These include generating over 60,000 leads and achieving 2,500 unit sales, bolstered by enhanced conversion strategies and a robust marketing campaign.

A pivotal moment at the conference was the unveiling of JAPI’s upcoming vehicle lineup, scheduled for release by the end of 2024. Building on the success of recent launches like the Dashing Symphony and T2 4X4 SUV, JAPI announced three new models designed to cater to diverse Filipino preferences and needs.

Beyond product innovation, JAPI emphasized its dedication to customer service excellence and sustainability. Plans include expanding service centers, enhancing staff training, and promoting eco-friendly practices across operations. Furthermore, JAPI revealed intentions to open two additional dealerships before year-end, with continued expansion slated for 2025, ensuring wider accessibility to JETOUR vehicles nationwide.

In a bid to fortify their market position, JAPI also unveiled comprehensive training programs under the JETOUR Auto Philippines Academy (JAPA). These programs, including JETOUR Sales Ambassador Training (JSAT), JETOUR Marketing Adaptive Training (JMAT), and JETOUR Technical Assessment Program (JTAP), aim to equip dealership teams with the skills needed to deliver superior customer experiences and drive sales growth.

Looking ahead, JAPI anticipates forging strategic partnerships with local entities to foster innovation and strengthen its foothold in the Philippine automotive market. By prioritizing workforce development and operational excellence, JETOUR aims to solidify its reputation as a provider of quality vehicles and exemplary customer service nationwide.
