inDrive closes 2024 with Paskong Ka-Gulong Campaign for Partner Drivers

Global ride-hailing app inDrive ended 2024 on a high note by celebrating its partner drivers through the Paskong Ka-Gulong campaign’s Grand Raffle. This initiative, aimed at expressing appreciation for their invaluable contributions, saw over Php 1.1 million worth of rewards distributed to drivers. Among the prizes was a Honda ADV 160 motorcycle, underscoring the company’s commitment to acknowledging the hard work and dedication of its partners.

As part of its broader mission to support the community, inDrive announced its decision to fully shoulder the government-mandated 20% discount for senior citizens, students, and persons with disabilities (PWDs), ensuring equitable and affordable ride access for these groups without impacting driver earnings.

The campaign raffle was open to inDrive’s partner drivers in Metro Manila who were active from October 15 to December 16. Rides completed during this period translated into raffle entries, with more rides increasing the chances of winning.

The Paskong Ka-Gulong campaign culminated in a grand event on December 20, where 178 hardworking drivers were rewarded with prizes that added joy to the holiday season. Notable prizes included three Honda ADV 160 motorcycles, five Crystal UHD TVs, ten Honor X6B smartphones, ten auto insurance packages courtesy of RideSecure, and 150 curated Christmas baskets.

“In 2024, inDrive cemented its position in the Philippine ride-hailing market thanks to the hard work and dedication of our partner drivers,” said Sofia Guinto, Head of Business Development at inDrive Philippines. “We prioritized showing our gratitude by acknowledging their contributions. Looking ahead, we aim to strengthen our partnerships by creating more income opportunities and empowering drivers to support their families.”

Discounts for Seniors, PWDs, and Students

Beyond celebrating its drivers, inDrive reaffirmed its compliance with the government-mandated 20% discounts for senior citizens, PWDs, students, and national athletes/coaches. Starting December 18, eligible passengers can claim reimbursements by submitting a valid ID and completing a form within 14 days of ride completion. Reimbursements will be processed within 5 to 14 business days, with confirmation emails sent upon successful transactions. Future app updates aim to streamline this process for users.

Guinto further emphasized, “By shouldering these discounts, we ensure our drivers’ earnings remain unaffected while providing affordable mobility solutions for passengers. This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to equitable service.”

Looking Ahead to 2025

As inDrive prepares for 2025, it plans to expand into new cities, introduce advanced safety features to enhance trust and peace of mind, and launch its Taxi Module to support taxi drivers and provide passengers with more options. With over 13,000 partner drivers and active operations in Metro Manila, Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Baguio, Iloilo, and Cebu, inDrive remains steadfast in its mission to deliver fair mobility for all.
