GAC International Philippines has been officially welcomed as a member of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI). The car brand shared that this will enable GAC PH to collaborate directly with industry stakeholders, which is seen to help the Philippine automotive industry.

GAC International Senior Vice President Steven Wang said that this milestone will further help the brand to accelerate its growth and presence in the Philippine market. Being an official CAMPI member also shows GAC’s commitment to the local market, according to Wang.

“Joining CAMPI is a significant honor and a pivotal chapter for our operations. We are eager to leverage this partnership to accelerate our growth in the Philippine market. As we continue re-consolidating our presence in the country, this membership underscores our deep-rooted commitment to providing Filipinos with world-class engineering and a comprehensive, future-ready automotive experience,” said Wang.

As a review, GAC PH completed a strategic reorganization in early 2026, transitioning to a wholly-owned local subsidiary under GAC International. Its re-entry into the market is anchored by the “One GAC” brand philosophy, which unifies GAC Motor, Aion, and Hyptec under a single, integrated brand.

Currently, GAC PH has a growing nationwide network of 30 dealerships. It also has a dedicated parts warehouse and is said to have comprehensive aftersales support. GAC PH is also offering warranties of up to five years or 150,000 kilometers for internal combustion vehicles. Among the internal combustion vehicles that GAC PH offers is the Emzoom, which features a refreshed design, updated interior, and enhanced convenience features.

On the other hand, GAC PH offers an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty for electric vehicle (EV) models, as well as an 8-year or 200,000 km warranty for the core three-electric system. All new owners also receive two years of free roadside assistance. One of the EV models that GAC PH offers is the Aion UT, a compact electric hatchback built for city life and daily commutes.

Autocar’s Take

GAC Philippines is now an official member of CAMPI, which the car brand sees as an opportunity to be more involved in collaborating directly with industry stakeholders. This allows GAC PH to have a more active participation in the new policies and industry standards that will be implemented in the local automotive industry. GAC PH also believes that being a CAMPI member will help the brand to further increase its presence in the local market. Currently, GAC PH has 30 dealerships and a dedicated parts warehouse, which helps the brand in its aftersales program.
