Ford Libis is marking its 25th anniversary in the Philippines with plans to upgrade its facility to Ford Signature 2.0 standards by the end of 2026, as the automaker begins a broader modernization of its dealership network nationwide.

Operated by the Laus Group of Companies, Ford Libis is set to become one of the first dealerships in the country to adopt Ford’s new global retail standard, which aims to make vehicle shopping and ownership more convenient, personalized and seamless.

Ford Signature 2.0 integrates modern showroom design, technology and customer services across the entire ownership journey, from vehicle displays and consultations to test drives, delivery and aftersales support. The approach also connects digital tools with in-person dealership experiences to give customers greater flexibility when purchasing a vehicle.

Once the upgrade is completed, Ford Libis will feature an open and modern showroom where customers can explore the automaker’s lineup and receive consultations tailored to their needs.

The dealership’s service workshop will also receive advanced diagnostic and repair technologies aligned with Ford’s global standards. Optimized service processes are intended to reduce waiting times, while professionally trained technicians and service advisers will continue to support vehicle maintenance and repairs.

The planned transformation reflects Ford’s commitment to improving its retail operations in the Philippines. According to the company, more dealerships nationwide will adopt Ford Signature 2.0 over the next several years.

Ford Philippines Managing Director Pedro Simoes said the dealership’s 25th anniversary represents both an achievement and an opportunity to pursue further improvements. He credited the Ford Libis team, the Laus Group and its employees for their contributions, while thanking customers for their continued loyalty and trust.

Lisset Laus-Velasco, chairman and CEO of the Laus Group of Companies, said the anniversary provides an opportunity to recognize the customers who have supported the dealership and prepare for its next stage of development. She added that becoming a certified Ford Signature 2.0 facility is an important step toward improving the experience for existing and future customers.

Beyond vehicle sales, Ford Libis has spent more than two decades providing aftersales services to Filipino motorists. Its anniversary also recognizes the employees and communities that have helped sustain the dealership’s operations.

The planned upgrade will test how effectively the new retail format can improve the customer experience, particularly in areas such as vehicle selection, service convenience and long-term ownership support. For Ford, the Libis project also offers an early look at how its Philippine dealership network could evolve under the Signature 2.0 standard.

Autocar’s Take

Ford Libis reaching its 25th anniversary is a good reminder that a dealership’s job does not end when a customer drives a new vehicle off the showroom floor. Reliable aftersales service, competent technicians and a hassle-free ownership experience matter just as much as the purchase itself. The planned Ford Signature 2.0 upgrade sounds promising, particularly if its technology and redesigned facilities translate into shorter waiting times and more convenient transactions.
