Autohub Group has expanded its brand family anew with the addition of Deepal, a Chinese electrified mobility brand under Changan. The partnership was formally solidified through a recent contract signing ceremony attended by representatives from the Autohub Group, Deepal, and Changan Auto Southeast Asia.

Present during the signing were Autohub Group President Willy Tee Ten, Autohub Group Chief Marketing Officer Norweijann Cruz, and Deepal Philippines General Manager Mark Gabriel. Also present were Guan Xin, Vice President; Leslie Wu, Vice Director; and Joel Villarin, Country Deputy Chief of Changan Auto Southeast Asia, underscoring the strategic importance of the partnership to both parties.

The agreement sets the framework for Deepal’s long-term operation and development in the Philippines. As its official local distributor,  Autohub Group will cover Deepal’s market strategy, product rollout, and brand positioning.

Deepal is positioned around intelligent vehicle systems, electrified powertrains, and contemporary design, reflecting broader industry shifts toward connected, efficient, and lower-emission mobility. According to Autohub, Deepal aligns with its strategy of introducing forward-looking automotive brands that address evolving consumer preferences and increasing interest in electrified mobility.

Under Autohub’s stewardship, Deepal Philippines will introduce an initial model lineup led by the Deepal S05. The model will be offered in two variants: the S05 REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) and the S05 BEV (battery-electric vehicle). The former combines electric drive with extended range capability, while the latter offers a full-on electric driving experience for urban mobility. The brand will also introduce the Deepal G318, a range-extended EV with off-road capability. A midsize SUV, the Deepal S07, completes the lineup and is expected to arrive in the succeeding quarters of 2026.

Deepal Philippines is scheduled to make its official debut this April at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), where further details on the brand’s local rollout are expected to be announced.
