Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), has significantly expanded its retail presence across the Philippines by opening 18 new service stations during the first half of 2024. This expansion is part of Caltex’s ongoing commitment to delivering clean, quality fuels for a smoother and more enjoyable journey for motorists nationwide.
In the CALABARZON region, Caltex has added new stations to its network, including one in Carsadang Bago, Imus, Cavite, which will serve the surrounding cities and municipalities. Another new station in Alaminos, Laguna, is strategically positioned to cater to the influx of visitors to the renowned Hidden Valley Springs.
A short drive away, Caltex has also opened a station in Lemery, Batangas, located along the National Highway. This area is a popular destination, known for its proximity to beach resorts and the historic Taal Basilica, attracting both local and foreign tourists.
Central Luzon has seen significant growth as well, with six new Caltex stations opening in Nueva Ecija, known as the “Rice Granary of the Philippines.” These include stations in San Jose, two in Cabanatuan, and two more in the municipality of Talavera. Additionally, Tarlac, Pampanga, now hosts two new Caltex stations in Maliwalo and San Nicolas, both conveniently situated for local motorists.
In the Ilocos Region, a new Caltex station has been established in Barangay Bato, Naguilan, La Union. This province is celebrated for its world-class surfing spots, natural attractions, and rich cultural heritage, making the new station a convenient stop for both residents and visitors.
In the Visayas, Caltex continues to grow with two new stations: one in Cebu, located along MJ Cuenco Street, near the iconic Magellan’s Cross and the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu Pilgrim Center, and another in Dao, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, positioned near schools and shopping malls.
Mindanao is also part of Caltex’s expansion, with new stations in the Davao region and Zamboanga City. The new station in Tagum City, Davao Del Norte, is well-placed to serve this vibrant area known as the “Palm City” and “City of Festivals.” Another station in Davao City is located on Bacaca Road, while in Zamboanga, the new station is conveniently situated in Sutterville, close to Zamboanga International Airport.
“Opening 18 new Caltex stations in the first half of the year underscores our commitment to growing alongside our retail partners while expanding our reach to provide quality fuels to motorists across the nation,” said Billy Liu, Country Chairman and General Manager of Chevron Philippines.
