Porsche’s premium lifestyle brand, Porsche Design, has staged its first-ever “Treffen Der Ikonen (Gathering of Icons)” in the Philippines, signalling its reentry in the local high-end motoring lifestyle market through Porsche Design Manila. Held last September 11, 2025, at the Auto Complex in Quezon City, the car meet celebrated not only Porsche Design’s return, but also the visionary design philosophy of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the founder of Porsche and the designer of the original Porsche 911 sports car.

The event’s centerpiece was a classic Porsche 911, faithfully restored and maintained to channel the model’s timeless heritage. Aside from the classic 911, the event also gathered over a hundred Porsche owners and enthusiasts, who showcased their rare, cherished, and personalized units, creating a visual timeline of Porsche’s evolution through the years.

Beyond the cars and the gathering, the event showcased immersive zones that highlighted Porsche’s diverse portfolio.

Headlining this was the Heritage Gallery, a showcase lounge that honored Ferdinand Porsche’s journey from designing the 911 to creating premium lifestyle concepts that complement the German car brand. The lounge also featured a Timepiece & Innovation Zone where watches inspired by Porsche’s motorsports and engineering legacy were on display. The Travel & Mobility Showcase, meanwhile, featured luggage and leather goods built for performance and style, and the Lifestyle & Fashion Zone presented apparel, eyewear, footwear, and accessories that reflected the brand’s timeless modernity.

“Just like Ferdinand Alexander Porsche who stood the test of time, giving us a brand that is beloved through generations, Porsche Design carries the same principles of innovation, precision, and timeless excellence; And representing the brand who started the first ever Treffen Der Ikonen, this gathering is indeed a testament to his vision,” said Porsche Design Manila President Hans Yao.

Porsche Design was established in 1972 by Ferdinand Porsche. He created the brand to reflect the same principles of innovation, precision, and timeless aesthetics from automotive design to lifestyle products. The iconic Porsche Design Chronograph I wristwatch started it all for the motoring lifestyle brand, which has since expanded into eyewear, fashion, luggage, and accessories, all defined by a philosophy of “Engineered Luxury” that blends form and function.

Porsche Design Manila is the exclusive local distributor of Porsche Design products in the Philippines. It has specialty stores in Rockwell Powerplant Mall, Shangri-La, Okada Manila, Newport Resorts Mall, and Nustar Resort and Casino.
