Lotus Manila has made a grand return to the local automotive scene with the official re-opening of its state-of-the-art showroom in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), coinciding with the much-anticipated debut of the all-new Lotus Emeya, the first electric hyper Grand Tourer (GT). The event marked a significant milestone for the British luxury sports car brand and its commitment to providing Filipino customers with world-class driving experiences.

The re-opening event showcased not only the Emeya but also other Lotus flagship models such as the Lotus Emira and the electric performance SUV Eletre, solidifying the brand’s strong presence in the Philippines.

Emeya: The First Electric Hyper-GT

The Lotus Emeya, the highlight of the event, represents a bold step for the brand as it embraces the future of electric mobility. The Emeya is designed with both performance and comfort in mind, boasting a powerful electric drivetrain that produces up to 905 bhp, enabling the hyper-GT to sprint from 0-100 km/h in under 2.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric GTs in the world.

Equipped with advanced active aerodynamics, the Emeya allows drivers to tailor the car’s dynamics to different driving environments. Its active front grille, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler ensure optimal performance whether on city streets or the open highway.

Key technical features include:

  • A top speed of 250 km/h.
  • A 400-kW DC fast charging capability, which allows the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 14 minutes.
  • An impressive WLTP range of 610 km on a full charge, providing drivers with confidence for long-distance travel.

Lotus ensures that Emeya blends luxurious craftsmanship with sustainable materials, using the new Wyron Truecycle luxury thread—made from repurposed fibers—highlighting its commitment to eco-conscious production.

Designed for Both Performance and Everyday Usability

Beyond its breathtaking performance, the Emeya offers everyday practicality and comfort. With a 509L boot and a 31L frunk, the Emeya is perfect for both short drives and extended road trips. Inside, the luxury experience is amplified with ambient lighting, multiple massage modes, and a panoramic glass roof that can switch between opaque and transparent.

For entertainment, Emeya boasts a state-of-the-art 15.1-inch HD OLED infotainment system powered by Unreal Engine gaming technology, and an immersive sound experience with the KEF Dolby Atmos-enabled 3D surround sound system.

Special Offers for the Philippine Market

In celebration of the Emeya’s launch, Lotus Manila is offering a special package for customers who reserve their vehicles by 31 October 2024. The package includes a complimentary XPPF Paint Protection Film, VK Series V-Kool Tint, and a 7kW home charger, ensuring that customers experience both luxury and convenience from day one.

The Lotus Emeya is available in three variants—Base, S, and R—starting from Php 8,000,000, with six color options including Boreal Grey, Fireglow Orange, Solar Yellow, Akoya White, Stellar Black, and Kaimu Grey.

Willy Tee Ten, President of the Autohub Group, expressed his excitement about this new chapter: “We are incredibly excited to unfold this new chapter in the Philippines as we re-open our doors to the state-of-the-art showroom in BGC. The investment in this facility marks our unwavering commitment to elevating the Lotus brand and delivering exceptional customer experiences.”

“The arrival of Lotus Emeya is set to redefine the benchmark of sustainable luxury driving in the Philippine market. We are thrilled to bring this revolutionary vehicle to passionate Filipino drivers who seek the best in both technology and driving experience.” said Lotus Cars President and CEO for Asia Pacific and Middle East, Dan Balmer

With the launch of the Emeya and the reopening of its BGC showroom, Lotus Manila has once again positioned itself at the forefront of luxury and performance, bringing Filipino drivers the best that electric hyper-GT technology has to offer.
