Pedestrians and cyclists in Quezon City now have a new elevated walkway linking the prominent urban parks of the Quezon Memorial Circle and Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center. The newly opened QC Elevated Landscape Promenade spans the busy Quezon Avenue corridor and offers a fresh alternative above street level.
The structure features a wide path that safely accommodates those who walk or use bicycles, side by side. Access is provided via ramps and stairways, making it easier for cyclists and users of non-motorized transport to move between the two green spaces. The initiative is part of the city’s broader effort to enhance mobility options and to integrate greener infrastructures in urban settings. Construction of the promenade began in mid-2024.

The place has been landscaped with a variety of greeneries to provide a calm and pleasant atmosphere for users. The elevated structure provides a clear vantage point above the main road, adding to the feeling of open space in an otherwise dense urban zone. The scenic landscaping and the view may even provide photo/video reel enthusiasts with fresh new spots to take stunning shots of the urban life.
The new elevated walkway will not only serve as a mobility link, but also as a public amenity – offering an accessible and comfortable environment for people who want to walk, cycle, or simply enjoy the greener surroundings. Park goers, city commuters, and fitness enthusiasts who value the health benefits of walking are encouraged to try the new QC Elevated Landscape Promenade and experience the blend of mobility and nature.
According to a post by the Quezon Memorial Circle official Facebook page, the city government is expected to add more facilities like the newly opened green elevated walkway. This means that the city government is committed to improving the quality of life for its people and for those who visit the biggest city in Metro Manila for work, business, and leisure.
