Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is going to showcase the next-generation Tamaraw’s versatility across four events, happening in Metro Manila and Cebu this September. TMP intends to highlight the Tamaraw’s highly configurable platform, which allows it to be a vehicle that can be customized according to the needs and lifestyles of any business owner or individual.
The Japanese automaker said that the Tamaraw can easily adapt to different uses, including passenger transport, cargo delivery, refrigerated logistics, custom mobile shops, among others. Its versatility allows it to become an ideal mobility solution for various needs.
As such, Toyota PH is bringing the Tamaraw to four events this month to show how it fits into various industries and lifestyles. First up, the Toyota Tamaraw will be at the Asia Food Expo (AFEX) at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from September 9 to 12. Toyota will be displaying several examples of the Tamaraw that are fit for the food and beverage industry, which include the following body styles: Utility Van, GL Dropside, Wing Van, and Refrigerator Van.

The Toyota Tamaraw will also be highlighted at the Philippine Building Construction Expo (PHILBEX) Cebu from September 10 to 13. PHILBEX Cebu will be held at the IEC Convention Center Cebu, where Toyota PH will feature a Tamaraw GL Dropside. The car brand added that guests can see and experience the vehicle through test drives during the event.
Toyota added that the Tamaraw will also be gracing the annual PURVEYR Fair, happening on September 12 and 13 at the World Trade Center Tent. The two-day event will gather independent Filipino brands, creatives, and communities. Toyota PH will be bringing a Tamaraw GL Dropside that’s converted into a DJ booth and a pop-up flower store.
A Tamaraw Food Truck will also be deployed at the fair in support of Waves For Water, demonstrating another way the vehicle can be converted into not only functional mobile business space but a medium for spreading a business’ advocacy.
Meanwhile, Toyota will be displaying a Tamaraw GL Dropside at the Diecast Car Collectors of the Philippines Grandparents Day Pit Stop on September 12 and 13 at Cash and Carry in Makati.

Autocar’s Take
Toyota PH is going all out when it comes to showcasing the versatility and functionality of the next-gen Tamaraw, as it will be displayed at four events in Metro Manila and Cebu this September. This goes to show that Toyota PH wants to further establish the Tamaraw as one of the top choices when it comes to being a utilitarian or workhorse vehicle.
Aside from the Tamaraw’s versatility, Toyota PH is also offering free 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for the Tamaraw, which includes services such as flat tire replacement, battery boosting, minor on-site mechanical repairs, emergency fuel delivery, and towing assistance for up to one intervention or 25 kilometers to the nearest Toyota dealership.
