After being previewed at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), the new Kicks e-Power is now ready to make its official local debut this week, as Nissan Philippines announced that it will be launched on August 28, 2026, at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center.
Aside from the official PH launch date, Nissan has yet to share more details about the upcoming Kicks e-Power. From what we initially know, Nissan Philippines could introduce four variants of the 2027 Kicks e-Power. This is based on the information shown on the Department of Energy’s official website.
As such, Nissan PH could offer the following Kicks e-Power variants: Kicks VL, Kicks VE, Kicks LE, and Kicks LE Plus. The list also suggests that Nissan PH could offer Premium Colors for each trim, which could most likely mean paying extra to have the Kicks e-Power in an exclusive exterior paint.
Nissan PH shared that the new Kicks e-Power is “built for those who Live Daring.” The Japanese car brand added that the public can explore the 2027 Nissan Kicks e-Power’s bold design and innovative technologies through test drive opportunities, which will be available to the public until August 30, 2026, at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center.
“At Nissan, our current focus is on expanding our powertrain lineup to provide options that fit the different lifestyles of our customers. Following its public debut at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), we are excited to give even more customers the opportunity to experience it up close and discover its features, technology, and electrified driving experience for themselves,” said Nissan PH President Yoshinori Kanazawa.
Other than the new Kicks e-Power, the car brand will also be holding the Nissan Intelligent Mobility Tour at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center from August 28 to 30. Among the cars to be displayed are the following: the recently launched all-new Nissan X-Trail e-Power, the new Nissan Kicks e-Power, and the Patrol. These three Nissan vehicles are also available for test drives together with the Terra and the Navara.

Nissan Philippines is adding another e-Power model to its model lineup, which is the new Kicks e-Power. It joins the all-new X-Trail e-Power, which is seen to give Nissan PH’s local lineup a much-needed boost, as the local automotive market continues to be more competitive. The new Kicks e-Power is one of the important vehicles for Nissan Philippines, as the subcompact crossover segment is currently packed with a lot of players. Having a challenger in the said segment could give Nissan PH a boost in staying as one of the notable car brands in the Philippine automotive industry.
