Ford Philippines has expanded its Territory lineup with the launch of the new Territory Hybrid Platinum, introducing a more premium variant aimed at buyers looking for added comfort, technology, and efficiency in the growing small utility hybrid segment.
The new flagship arrives roughly a year after the Territory Hybrid made its local debut. According to Ford Philippines, the hybrid model has sold 4,405 units as of June 2026, helping establish the Territory Hybrid as one of the country’s strongest contenders in the segment.
Priced at an introductory P1,655,000, the Territory Hybrid Platinum builds upon the existing hybrid model by adding several upscale interior and exterior features while retaining its electrified powertrain. Buyers also receive a five-year warranty and a complimentary two-year scheduled service plan.
Inside, Ford has focused on elevating cabin comfort. The Platinum variant comes with quilted leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a premium 10-speaker Arkamys sound system, and a hands-free power tailgate. One of its more unusual additions is the Digital Scent system, which allows occupants to choose from multiple fragrance profiles that can be adjusted through the infotainment screen.

Exterior updates are equally noticeable. The Territory Hybrid Platinum receives a black roof, gloss black trim pieces, exclusive Platinum badging, coast-to-coast LED daytime running lights, automatic high beams, and newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels that distinguish it from other Territory variants.
Power continues to come from a 1.5-liter dedicated hybrid engine paired with a two-speed hybrid transmission and a lithium-ion battery. Ford says the system combines engine and electric motor output to deliver responsive performance while achieving a claimed fuel economy of 19.6 km/L and a driving range of up to 1,000 kilometers on a full tank without requiring external charging.
Technology remains another highlight. Dual 12-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Ford app connectivity, and an expanded suite of driver assistance features now include Traffic Jam Assist and Integrated Cruise Assist, designed to reduce driver workload during congested commutes and highway cruising.
Available in Moonbay Blue, Lustrous Grey, and Crystal Pearl White, the Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum is now open for reservations at Ford dealerships nationwide beginning August 7. With its blend of hybrid efficiency, luxury-oriented upgrades, and advanced safety technologies, Ford is positioning its newest Territory variant to strengthen its foothold in the increasingly competitive hybrid SUV market.

Autocar’s Take
The arrival of the Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum reflects how quickly the Philippine hybrid SUV market is evolving. Buyers are no longer looking only for better fuel economy—they also expect premium comfort, advanced driver assistance, and modern technology in one package. Features like the Digital Scent system may grab headlines, but the bigger story is how hybrid vehicles are steadily moving into the mainstream. If Ford can continue offering competitive pricing alongside proven fuel efficiency, the Territory Hybrid Platinum could further strengthen the brand’s position in the country’s increasingly crowded hybrid SUV segment.
