The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) is set to bring government transactions closer to commuters and transport workers as it hosts the Lingap Para sa Kabuhayan Caravan on June 25 and 26. The two-day activity will gather several frontline agencies under one roof, allowing passengers and nearby residents to complete important transactions without making separate trips to government offices across Metro Manila.
Among the participating agencies are the Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, and the Pag-IBIG Fund. Services available during the government services caravan include member record updating, contribution verification, account inquiries, loan application assistance, benefit consultations, and support for Pag-IBIG ID registration and issuance.
By holding the caravan inside one of the country’s busiest transport hubs, PITX hopes to make public services more accessible. It is expected to benefit thousands of commuters, drivers, conductors, and transport workers who pass through the terminal every day. According to PITX Corporate Affairs and Government Relations Director Jason Salvador, the initiative aims to save passengers both time and transport expenses while making essential services easier to access during their regular commute.

The Lingap para sa Kabuhayan Caravan also supports the government’s efforts to improve public engagement and service accessibility by bringing agencies closer to communities through strategic locations such as transport terminals. The event highlights PITX’s ongoing mission to evolve beyond a transport interchange into a community hub that combines mobility, public service, and civic engagement.
Commuters, tenants, nearby residents, and transport workers are encouraged to visit the PITX government caravan and take advantage of the available services during the two-day event. The initiative likewise reinforces the role of integrated transport terminals in delivering social services where people already gather in large numbers each day.
Instead of asking citizens to adjust their schedules around office hours and distant locations, the caravan brings agencies directly to potential beneficiaries. With convenience becoming more important in urban mobility planning today, projects that combine transportation and public service are expected to become more common in the years ahead.
Autocar’s Take
The Lingap Para sa Kabuhayan highlights how transport hubs can do more than move people from one destination to another. For many commuters, finding time to visit multiple government offices can mean lost income, added fares, and an entire day away from work. Bringing SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG services directly to PITX addresses a practical problem in a practical way. As transport terminals become more connected and accessible, initiatives like the PITX government services caravan could become a model for other major terminals across the country.
