
Mercedes-Benz Philippines organized an exclusive EQ drive experience to showcase its electric vehicle (EV) lineup and to pay tribute to mothers who embody safety, comfort, and purposeful leadership. Joining the EQ drive experience is Mercedes-Benz PH’s brand ambassador, Iza Calzado. This event is also Mercedes-Benz PH’s way of celebrating the brand’s 140 years of innovation.
The German car brand said that the EQ drive experience is designed to reflect the shared alignment between motherhood and Mercedes-Benz, which is defined by care and driven by the desire to move life forward with intention.
The Mercedes-Benz EQ EV model lineup, the EQE Sedan, and the EQB are among the highlighted vehicles during the event. The car brand shared that its EQ EVs showcase its vision for electric mobility through “innovation, sustainability, and intelligent performance.” Participants experienced how Mercedes-Benz continues to redefine driving with a range of fully electric vehicles that seamlessly combine elegance, comfort, and advanced technology.
The EQ lineup reflects Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to producing vehicles that “deliver not only exceptional performance but also a refined and intuitive driving experience.” The car brand added that each EQ mode embodies the “next chapter of modern luxury.”

The EQ drive experience allowed participants to become more familiar with Mercedes-Benz’s approach to and vision of the future of mobility through an engaging and memorable setting. Mercedes-Benz also made it a point to share its vision on how electrification can elevate everyday journeys.
As such, participants had the opportunity to test drive the Mercedes-Benz EQE Sedan and Mercedes-Benz EQB. The EQE Sedan is said to offer refined ride comfort, as well as an electric driving range of up to 682 kilometers (WLTP), making it ideal for both daily commutes and long-distance journeys.
Meanwhile, the seven-seater EQB offers spaciousness, advanced technology, and an all-electric driving range of up to 535 kilometers (WLTP), offering comfort and convenience for families on every journey.

Aside from the test drive, the day was filled with activities starting with a curated pottery workshop at Wabi Sabi Studio, where participants explored creativity and mindfulness through hands-on craftsmanship.
Following the workshop, participants proceeded to Shangri-La The Fort for an exclusive lunch gathering at Samba Restaurant. A media roundtable discussion was held with Mercedes-Benz Philippines brand ambassador Iza Calzado, who shared personal insights on motherhood and empowerment.
