SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation (SMCACD) has officially opened RSA Motorrad EDSA, a new BMW Motorrad dealership facility located along EDSA in Mandaluyong City. The new facility expands the brand’s footprint in Metro Manila and strengthens its after-sales network for local riders and two-wheel enthusiasts alike.
Situated at 169 EDSA, Brgy. Wack-Wack, Mandaluyong City, the new dealership takes after the company’s previous Libis, Quezon City flagship location. As such, it now serves as BMW Motorrad’s largest standalone flagship facility in Metro Manila. RSA Motorrad EDSA brings sales, service, parts, riding gear, and lifestyle merchandise together under one roof, while also placing the brand along one of the metro’s busiest and most accessible thoroughfares.
According to SMCACD, the dealership follows the latest BMW Motorrad corporate identity, featuring lounge-inspired customer spaces, dedicated handover areas, and a central “fireplace” lighting element designed to create a more relaxed and social atmosphere for visitors.

The facility currently operates with between five and eight active service bays, depending on operational requirements, with plans already in place to expand capacity further. The company confirmed that additional bays will be added over the coming months, with long-term provisions allowing the dealership to scale up to a total of sixteen service bays in the future.
BMW Motorrad Philippines said the expansion is intended to support the growing number of BMW Motorrad owners in the country, while also improving service turnaround times and workshop efficiency. The dealership is equipped with BMW Motorrad diagnostic tools and staffed by factory-trained technicians.
“We are excited to reach even more customers with our newest Motorrad facility. We are committed to ensuring our position as the number one premium motorcycle brand in the country,” shared Jacob Ang, President of SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp.
The opening comes as premium motorcycle brands continue to invest in larger customer-focused facilities, addressing the growing demand for upmarket touring, adventure, and lifestyle motorcycles in the Philippines. For BMW Motorrad, the new EDSA dealership represents both a relocation and a significant upgrade in scale, accessibility, and long-term service capability.
RSA Motorrad EDSA operates from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

Autocar’s Take
BMW Motorrad’s move from Libis to EDSA is a statement about where the premium motorcycle market in the Philippines is headed. A larger standalone facility, expanded service capability, and a more central location highlights the brand’s preparation for sustained growth in the local riding community.
What’s more noteworthy here is the focus on after-sales infrastructure. Adding up to 16 service bays is a significant investment, especially in a market where workshop capacity often struggles to keep up with demand. For riders, that could mean shorter waiting times and a more dependable ownership experience beyond the showroom floor.
