VinFast Philippines has expanded its dealership network by opening the VinFast Cebu South showroom. This further strengthens VinFast’s footprint in the Visayas region, enabling the Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker to expand its presence in the local market.
The VinFast Cebu South is operated in partnership with TJ Motors Ventures Corp., and it is located at Il Corso Filinvest Malls in Cebu South Coastal Road. VinFast said that its Cebu South showroom will feature the brand’s growing lineup of EVs, including the VinFast VF MPV 7. The VF MPV 7 is a seven-seater full-electric MPV that goes up against the likes of the BYD eMax 7.
The VinFast VF MPV 7 is powered by an electric motor that delivers 204 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 60.13 kWh battery. It comes with a driving range of up to 450 kilometers (NEDC) on a full charge. Fast-charging capability allows the battery to charge from 10 percent to 70 percent in approximately 30 minutes.
Aside from the VF MPV 7, VinFast PH said that the VinFast Cebu South dealership also showcases the Limo Green, a seven-seater electric MPV that is marketed for fleet buyers. The VinFast Limo Green is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery that powers the electric motor, generating an output of 201 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, and has a range of up to 450 kilometers on a single full charge.
VinFast PH added that the VinFast Cebu South comes with a modern showroom space along with dedicated areas for sales consultations, test drive coordination, vehicle delivery, and customer lounge.
VinFast PH CEO Rhomel Franco shared that consumers are beginning to reassess how they value vehicles amid the rising fuel costs.
“As more Filipinos begin to reassess their mobility choices amid rising fuel costs, there is a growing need for solutions that are both practical and sustainable. The opening of our Cebu South showroom allows us to bring electric mobility closer to communities in the Visayas and support their transition toward more efficient everyday transport,” VinFast PH CEO Rhomel Franco said.
Meanwhile, TJ Motors Ventures Corp. Chairman Jonathan Cua noted that Cebu continues to be an important market in the Visayas.
