Caltex Philippines continues to expand its network as it has opened six new fuel stations in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026. The fuel company said that the new Caltex stations would enable more motorists to have access to its fuel products that are formulated with Techron technology.

Caltex’s Techron technology is said to be an innovative formulation that has been scientifically proven to help significantly clean and protect engines. Caltex shared that its Techron tech not only removes dirt but also reduces deposit formation on critical parts of a car’s engine. This, according to Caltex, allows the engine to perform at its optimum, “delivering maximum power and more mileage per tank.”

The fuel company added that its Techron formulation now contains Clean & Glide Technology, which is designed to clean and protect a car’s engine. It also claims that the Caltex Platinum with Techron contains 50 percent more active Clean and Glide Technology ingredients, which “allows faster clean-up of performance-robbing deposits” that build up on critical engine components.

The newly opened Caltex fuel stations are situated in different locations, such as in Metro Manila, North and South Luzon, and in the Visayas. Caltex PH shared that its new retail stations can be found across Makati, Tagaytay, Batangas, La Union, and Bacolod.

Here are some of the locations where motorists can find newly opened Caltex fuel stations: EDSA Harvard, Makati; Sta. Rosa – Tagaytay Road; San Jose, Taysan, Batangas; San Sebastian St., Bacolod City, Negros Occidental; and Aringay, La Union.

Aside from opening new fuel stations, new Caltex autoPro and Caltex bikePro service centers began operations in select locations nationwide. These facilities offer maintenance services for both four-wheeled vehicles and motorcycles, handled by trained mechanics.

Caltex said that its autoPro workshop is designed to bring customers the best experience possible when it comes to maintenance services. It claims that its service centers use genuine Caltex products that are recognised worldwide for their quality, performance, and technology.

Autocar’s Take

The new Caltex fuel stations show that Caltex Philippines is determined to ride out the current fuel price hike brought about by the ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Opening new fuel stations at a time when fuel prices are going up might not be the best move, but it shows that Caltex is confident that it will overcome the current oil price hike.

This also shows that Caltex is committed to further expanding its network in order to serve more motorists by giving them access to its fuel products that are formulated with Techron, which is said to help clean and protect a car’s engine.
