According to Seaoil, transport network vehicle service (TNVS) drivers and motorcycle taxi riders under Grab and Move It have now collectively saved around P2.6 million on fuel. This announcement by the fuel company came as a result of its ongoing partnership with Grab and Move It, aimed at helping driver and river partners rise against high fuel costs that eat through daily earrings.
The fuel savings, recorded from March to April 2026, were generated through exclusive fuel discounts and digital fuel management tools made available to Grab and Move It partners via Seaoil’s PriceLOCQ app. According to the companies, discounts reached as high as P8.73 per liter during selected campaigns.
The initiative is part of the Grab and Move It Bayanihan Fuel Crisis Support Program, which was launched to help ease the financial burden of rising fuel prices on drivers, riders, and delivery partners. The program also aligns with Seaoil’s “Kabalikat Mo sa Hanapbuhay” campaign aimed at supporting workers heavily dependent on fuel for daily income.

Grab and Move It said the Bayanihan Fuel Crisis Support Program mobilized around P350 million in assistance from March to April through commission rebates, incentives, spot bonuses, and other support measures for its transport and delivery partners.
For many drivers and riders, fuel remains one of the largest operating expenses, especially amid continued fluctuations in global oil prices. The partnership seeks to provide more predictable fuel spending through digital tools integrated into the PriceLOCQ platform.
One of the app’s features allows users to purchase fuel at current prices for future use through a “Top-Up Liter Balance” system. This feature helps protect drivers and riders from sudden fuel price increases. Another feature, LOCQPay, offers a scan-to-pay setup that automatically applies discounts at participating SEAOIL stations.
The companies said additional “Super Sale” fuel discount events are already being planned in the coming months as the partnership expands further.
Autocar’s Take
Fuel prices continue to be one of the biggest pressures faced by TNVS drivers and motorcycle taxi riders, so programs that provide direct and measurable savings matter more than ever. What makes the Grab, Move It, and Seaoil partnership notable is that the support goes beyond temporary promos.
By using digital tools like PriceLOCQ, the program gives drivers and riders better control over daily fuel expenses while helping stabilize earnings. In an industry where every peso counts, P2.6 million in collective savings is significant. More importantly, it shows how private sector collaboration can create practical solutions for workers constantly exposed to rising operating costs.
